FIXED: isolated corrupt profile

   I tried switching to the new hubpages profile page, but when I did, all it did was crash! Nothing is on my profile page at all! I can't access my hubs or anything! What is happening? Did I do something wrong?
   
   When I go to my profile, all I see is a blank page and words at the very top.

         Rebooted. Nothing has changed. What is happening here? I was hesitant about switching to this new profile design now everything is messed up!

   Wow!  It's a big, dark gray box with only a banner!  Scary!  Never seen anything like it, but looks like the bugs continue!  Which is why I haven't ventured out into this next step.  I hope this gets fixed REAL FAST for anyone else getting into the new profile mode.

   I emailed the HubPages team. I can't believe this actually happened.
   
   Every time I am hesitant or paranoid about changing something I run into an issue. I really hope I get a reply from HubPages soon because this is quite a major issue.
   
   Everything else seems to be in order (my account etc), but access to my profile page seems impossible at the moment.
   
   I have not seen anyone else report a problem like this yet.

    That is really odd.  Somehow that stray code is inserted before the document head on your profile.

             I see. A lot of these forum posts are older, though, but nonetheless, it was the same problem.
             
             Obviously switching to the new profile page caused this issue. But I wonder if someone is in the same predicament as me when switching to the new HP interface.

                               Yep.. was a popular song in the "sealed knot"  Written in the cricketers arms pub in Canterbury where the local regiment used to get drunk reasonably regularly............going back 30 years............ lol

    I tried the new HP Profile ,uploading a background pic. Uploaded ok, but was blocked out  by my profile page ,so that seemed a waste of time.
    
    Now its gone,so its been a case of now you see it (kinda),now you don't lol.(definately)

    Some of the updating appears to work fine in Profile ,others not so ,like the background pic feature.
    
    Maybe it looks different outside of HP...beats me.
