FIXED: Auto-play video ads on the bottom of my hubs

I was browsing my hubs tonight and ran across several "auto-play" video ads that are being displayed at the bottom of the page.  This totally is not cool as I have videos on many of my hubs and these types of ads start playing over my video content. The one specific ad that I "heard" and then scrolled down and visual watched was one for Tide.

      Thanks for reporting this, Dale.

This is not a campaign we're running on HubPages so the audio ad probably slipped in from one of our ad network partners. Which Hub was the ad on? If you happen to see it again, please try and grab a screenshot.

I am not sure just which ad it was, Marina. I do believe it was one of the three I have on feng shui that are my recent hubs.  Normally I would not even notice because I have the audio off on my computer while browsing, but I was testing my video links and head the ad, and then I scrolled down until I located it.  Should I run across it again, I will do as you ask, get a screen shot and include the hub it is playing on.

        Thanks for the response.

Edit: Actually when I went to submit my recent hub to Google Webmaster to be indexed, an ad was playing.

Thanks, Dale. Looks like the ad starts playing audio after a mouse hover, however our ad policy requires a user-initiated click on all audio ads.

I know which network is serving it and have contacted them about removing it. I'll confirm once it's gone.

Okay, thanks.  The one that played earlier that I heard was long before I ever got to the ad, however, the one for Tide.  It was only after I heard it that I scrolled all the way down and found it.  It was in the left hand position, not the right hand position as this one is.  I could have scrolled over this one for sure, as I was looking at the bottom to begin with.

              Thanks for clarifying.

If you happen to come across the Tide one again, please grab a screenshot as you did with the Walmart ad.

Does this look like the Tide ad you saw?

It had already started playing, Marina, by the time I figured out where it was coming from. So I am not sure how it looked starting out.  I have tried to duplicate it by opening up about 15 hubs, but not getting any audio ads coming on.  I do remember it was about Tide but that is about all I remember.  I did see one Tide ad a few minutes ago, that once you moused over it, it opened into a bigger browser window with more information but no audio.

I'm signed in, open my page...

    http://sue-adams.hubpages.com/video/foo … erent-game

...and this full video add image starts playing an endless, never stopping loop tune.

I cannot stop it (not allowed to click on my own adds), besides, that would only lead me to their page. How can I view my video?

The weird thing is that the advert only appears when I'm signed in.

    http://s3.hubimg.com/u/7166698_f248.jpg

How can I get rid of it, or at least make it last no longer than 15 seconds and stop.

PS: It's a static image that says ""Harpsichord - Unleashed"

I just found another non-stopping full video add on this page:
    http://sue-adams.hubpages.com/video/no- … lexibility
    from "subscribe to Holliwood Network!

If all video hubs are like this, then my videos cannot be watched.
    Help!
