    Well today is my very first day on HubPages, and it has brought me great delight and a smile to my face that i am starting something new, and i look forward to the challenges and the future learning curves.

    I laughed like crazy at the ridiculousness of the people participating in the Million Puppet March in Washington DC. All protesting Mitt Romney’s proposed cut of funding to NPR and its 800 million dollar Sesame Street Inc. empire. If it wasn’t so misguided it might be humorous.

    The fact that my boss adjusted my work  schedule so I could attend religious services...on a regular basis.  I needed that very much.  So yes, that made me very happy indeed!

    I stood in the doorway with my dog, watching the rain fall, and smiled at my geese as they walked around the yard enjoying the shower! I guess there is a little something for everyone.
