Everything seems all downbeat with everyone today... Although, just remembering one little thing in a day that made you smile is great. What made you smile today?
I feel better today, had colds for the last three days, so I smiled at myself in the mirror, and then it smiled back, but I cant face my problem actually because my problem is my face, just a joke, please smile back...
I'm ok, opened a zazzle shop with just stupid sayings on shirts atm xD Also updated my personal website Are System of a Down reformed then?! I didn't know about this! Cheer up Justine, something good'll always be hanging around just waiting for you
Zazzle is an online store, you put a design up, name a percentage you want to make on the product you ask them to make, they judge the price based on that, and your product goes on their site. My designs are limited and I think I need to do versions with bigger text and pictures and stuff, but it's nice to be on there I'll post the link on my profile.
Ahhh System of a Down were fantastic Have you heard Scars on Broadway? And Serj's solo project? Both well worth a look
Incidentally, on the subject of music, I'm doing a countdown of my top 50 albums. I know you're into your music I've only done part 1(50-41) thus far though... I'll do 40-31 tomorrow probs
I decided not to post it on my profile as it's actually fairly irrelevant to everyone else, but I'll send it in a message I too need to sleep. 4 in the morning? How did that happen? XD Sleep well now
An autistic, non-speaking five-year old child whom I never met before came to me spreading it's arms and smiling. It sat on my lap, hugged and kissed me for half an hour (which was a wonder for those looking after the child). I smiled and had tears in my eyes...
I was sat on the toilet ( as you do! lol) and this little midget from out of no where just started to tell me a story about a fishfinger called fred and how he beat alcoholism single handed...it was hilarious!
My son and I have been watching these PBS videos about people in projects where they live like they did in the 1600s, the 1800s, etc. We were talking about whether or not he would do that, he said he wouldn't go back that far, his limit would be 100 years. Then he realized what would be missing and decided he'd be willing to go back as far as 1980 but probably not further!
My dog has taught herself to throw a toy over her shoulder, then whip her head around and catch it before it hits the ground. I always have to smile when I see that happen. What a dizzy dog.
There was many things to smile about today. Such as another day with my hubby home. Fresh snow on the ground and a warm fire. Finally making some decisions about one of my blogs. Getting rid of a couple more books, and finishing the first draft of a 5,000 word article!
I watched a show called. "I get that a lot." Where celebs do various jobs at different places, to see how people react to them. It was pretty funny. Yet kind of irritating at the same time, because if a real person did some of the things that the celebs were doing, they would no longer have jobs!
Tomorrow is a big smile day. Sunday Cartoons are on. Family Guy. American Dad, and the simpsons allways make me smile.
Some of the forum posts made me smile today. as well as; my son- I was sitting on the floor next to my bed, organizing the books-journals-paper and writing/drawing utensils in my night stand drawer. My two year old son was sitting on the bed watching Blues Clues. I looked up towards him after hearing him say 'Mommy'. I responded, 'Yes sir'? He looked at me and answered, "What's up bbbbaaabbbbyyyy"? I thought it was funny-he articulated it very well
I invited one 2 year smaller age Young girl to become the admin of my newly created blog But I also requested to not put any type ads in that blog, and hurray!!!!
She forge-ted my words & she now displaying her adsense ads on that blog on which she has not yet written a single post. Great na!!!!
After I came out of church today, two things made my day and made me smile. The first one was when one of our parishioners, who just had a baby had her eight week old baby girl with her, her name is Emily Louise. I think that a newborn baby will always put a smile on your face. She was adorable and made me smile a lot. The next thing I saw was a friends daughter holding a seven week old cocker spaniel puppy her name was "Bubba". I don't know about you but little puppies are something to smile about too. BB
I woke up at 3:00 and the first thing my husband said was, " Happy Birthday! Now I am awake it is 3:26am having coffee and realizing yes it is my Birthday!!! So I am smiling!!! Thank God for another year and I am glad that all of us are still here!
I second that one - I smiled at another thread on how NASA pictures make snow covered britain look like a scene from 'The day after tommorrow', and because there is an icicle the length of a popsicle on my kitchen window.
when an australian batsman stayed in for more than 6 runs, I also smiled with the Pakistani cricketers, at their joy at getting wickets especially after their tragedy at home. I wish them well.
I prefer to see good happen without darkness - it can be just as uplifting, will someone please tell the universe for me...
My new book!! I'd been hunting it out for so long!! Ok, it was yesterday when i got it but I'm still smiling today and when my bookshop said it was in they looked at me in bemusement for the big grin on my face! Ah, it reminds me of when I was nine and I got given a Roald Dahln boxset for Christmas...
We had a get together with friends last night. Too tired to clean up. Amazingly when we got up everything was cleaned, dishes in dishwasher, floors swept and so on. We have the most wonderful dog in the world. He is so considerate. He just makes me smile All this just for a belly rub and a treat
No, I am not fattening them up to eat them. However I just found a recipe here on HP for making nutria stew, which kinda surprised me. Have you eaten nutria?
They started out just eating the apples that fell from my apple trees, but then they began breaking into my compost bins so now I just throw my banana peals and other stuff like that out in the yard. I have raccoons, rats, squirrels, and opossums too.
List one thing that made you happy today, whether it be a raise at work, big sale on ebay/amazon affiliate, or you found out there's going to be a big sale this weekend at your favorite store...I'll start...A lady at work is collecting soda and water plastic bottle caps for a boy at her daughter's...
