When I went to edit one of my hubs, I found a lot of words highlighted with in-text ads. I am wondering if they are from the Hubpage Ad Program or if someone is getting into my account. I have no problem if it is Hubpage ads, but I don't want someone else doing it. Thanks Barb
I just edited some hubs. No in-text ads.
What you are describing is a common malware symptom. Not HP, but your computer.
As @paradigmsearch said, this is most likely malware as we do not use in-line ads.
Many times with Chrome, it is a result of a browser plug-in that is injecting hyperlinks in web content that does not have it.
You can find info here about disabling plug-ins:
https://support.google.com/chrome/bin/a … pn_plugins
If digging into your browser plug-ins seems like too big of a task, you can also uninstall and reinstall the browser and that should remove any plug-ins you installed that are not included with the browser.

I was reading through one of my own articles and a pop up ad appeared on the screen. I had to find the X and close it before continuing to read the article. If that weren’t bad enough, not 15 seconds later, it popped up again?! Are we really doing pop up ads now? Not only are they...

I asked a friend to check out a hub of mine to check a link that had been broken that I had fixed to make sure it was working. She said the link worked fine and that the article itself looked really good BUT more then half way down my last block of text was shifted way down. So she saw some ads and...

I know it can vary, but if you have any math to go with it that would be great.Right now...

How do I stop the ads that create links within the text of my hubs (turn one word blue)? For instance, in my most recent hub the word opportunity has been turned blue and leads to an ad for a school. Can anyone help? How do I block this?

I got up expecting my paypal payment from Hubpage Ads but it is not there yet. What time do you usually receive your payment?
