Your views count for unpublished Hubs

    I was just visiting my latest, as yet unpublished, masterpiece-to-be.

    I then dropped by G.A. Real-time.

    And there it was...

    Personally, I don't care. Just an fyi. smile

      I've seen the unpublished hub showing up in Analytics several times and assumed that because Google knows what page I asked for it knows that page is being visited.  Or some such, anyway.

      Can't see it matters as no one else can see the hub, just that I'm there.  I hope...

        Yep. I figured I'd just let HP know. I'll let them sort out whether this is a non-event or not. big_smile

          It's a non-event just like wilderness said.
          Your analytics code is on that page, so analytics reports those views, even though it isn't published.

            Unpublished hubs firing off data about themselves to Google... I wonder if any of that data is used in any/all aggregation calculations? Oh, well... Back to my nap.

      When you view your unpublished Hubs that also counts toward the total views.
      Google Analyltics should allow you to ignore certain IPs if you have a static address.
