After months and months of toiling and waiting, patience has finally paid off and Google has accepted my application into the Adsense program. Now, what next from here??

Congratulations.  This is just a beginning and best of luck for great earnings through Google Adsense.  Now all you have to do is keep post quality hubs in order to make more money.

    Hi cuttler,
I published 15 high quality hubs and Google Adsense won't approve me! It says in the HubPages Learning Centre that you only need 10. It isn't fair! What do I do?!

      Hi Susi10?
When i first started out, I witnessed other hubbers getting approved with as little as 5 hubs. It took me 20 hubs and 5 months of waiting to finally get approved. I guess it depends, not only on the content, and quality of the content you have, but also on the region where you are. Some countries get approved within a shorter time period than others. All I can advice is that you keep throwing quality content out there and hope for the best.
Hope to see you approved soon

The minimum number has been increased by Google and depending on your location, there's a time frame you gotta wait for as well...

    Congratulations Cuttler,
It took me almost three years with over 70 hubs to get approved. I suppose we can't quite tell the formula they use. It is patience and the love of writing that keeps us going.
