Can anyone name the total number of hubbers on Hubpages?   Also, how many countries and which countries are a part of hubpages?  I would really like to know how large our community is and which audiences we reach.

I wonder how many of these are active here.

On the forums?  I'd guess maybe a couple hundred... tops.

Since the number only includes published hubbers (not trolls and forum only accounts), I'm guessing maybe half are still posting hubs...

as far as I know, you can't see how many hubbers there are any more but I  imagine it is in the thousands. As far as countries, thre are hubbers here from nearly everywhere in the world. I, personally, have seen and know of some from Australia, New Zeland, USA, China, India, UK, Ireland, Canada just to name a few.

As far as where your hubs can be seen, I don't think there are any places they can't be seen once they have been indexed by the search engines. I get regular traffic from google.uk for example.

Thank you both. Thousands or hundreds of thousands or millions?   I wish we could get a close approximation from HP.   Yes  thank you both!!

It is fascinating to see where all of this material is available.

HubPages no longer discloses the number of people registered with the site in general, because just a small fraction of those users go on to write content worth publishing.

Quantcast stats will tell you a lot more detail about the web audience and reach.

HubPages is receiving 27,739,444 unique visitors per month.  Of those,
    15,313,758 are from the U.S.

Of the 'published Hubs' , only 384,897 are featured right now.

Where'd ya get that featured hub stat? I know the answer will make me look like an idiot, but I don't care. big_smile

That makes the current featured percentage about 34% of published Hubs.  It will be interesting to see how (if?) the new QAP standards effect total published Hubs and featured percentage.

Gee whiz.  It makes me feel good about my 100 percent hubs featured.  I know, though, that many of the unfeatured hubs are from English as a second language writers.  If I tried to write in any language other than English, it would be simply awful.

Still, only 387,000 some hubs featured makes me wonder how HubPages makes money.  There must be some awesome money makers among those hubs.

    The traffic is from quantcast.

The featured Hubs stat is from:
    http://hubpages.com/topics/tree

(You have to add the numbers, which works better if you have fingers instead of paws.)

And, I don't think you look like an idiot.  I'm the one with a tail.

Blossomsb, I am so grateful for all the valuable information everyone has posted.  I am learning so much and find there is so much more to learn!
I agree with you about the community!  There are so many learned and helpful people involved and you never know who will have an expertise or in depth knowledge of a question or topic.
I also love the sense of humor from hubbers..it makes everything fun too!
Thank you all.   You have made my day!

You all are awesome, but when it comes to blessing hearts, who asked the question????? eh???  Just kidding.

Not kidding when I say that the last hyperlink is incredible!

Yah, we can add, but that alone doesn't say it all, does it?  It is one day not accurate for the true number I was hoping to reach of actual hubbers and number active....
Maybe we should invite a staff member to officially or non officially answer.

PS  I believe like Tiny Tim, God Bless us Everyone! smile

@agilitymach  Wow   awesome for us isnt it?  and I join you in the second language bit.  I would not have even joined!  unless an auto translator did it for me...wonderful programs arent there?  I cant help but wonder if it would come out all wrong and I would be banned from hubpages or it would just be lame.  So I tip my hat to those who master second languages!!!!!!  Truly master languages.  I know some who speak several languages and I am in awe.
I noticed in google when I searched for my hubs that there are french versions of what appears to be my info...Does anyone know if it is translated for us?

I speak some Spanish for business, but limited and I could never conduct a full presentation without studying before to be sure I gave all the information appropriately.  Still then I dont go without a "guide" so it goes smoothly.
