I'm brand new to HubPages, and I want to make sure I don't violate any rules. I'm about to start a hub on government grant scams, and I'm wondering if it's okay to promote my e-book by inserting a link to my Amazon store page in case readers want to buy it. Please advise.

Welcome to HubPages! Best wishes to you. I was going to say the same thing Matthew just said: make sure the links are related to your hubs.
Thank you Phyllis and Matthew. My e-book addresses the subject of grant scams extensively, so it sounds like I'll be okay promoting it, but time will tell.

Is it frowned upon to promote links to ones stuff elsewhere? For example, I am a citizen of Si'mybio, *URL SNIPPED* and I would like to shout about it! I'm sorry if I've broken a rule, but I'm new here!
