A few times after improving a hub I click the black Hubpages button to share it, but I get a message that frequent sharing of your own pages is not recommended, and do I wish to continue? Why is not recommended and, Is there a rule of thumb about how much sharing is recommended or o.k.?
When you publish a new Hub, your followers are notified automatically in an email, so they already know about it.
If you keep sharing it with them again, every time you update it, you are likely to annoy your followers! I know I "unfollow" people who are constantly bugging me with minor updates - I get too many notifications as it is! So it's a good idea to use the share buttons sparingly.
