One of my highly visited and rated hub is having a duplicate label now(and is down on the nofollow) despite having original content, (I think the quoted content in the hub triggered the detection mechanism). Despite submitting it for review, nothing has happened yet. The hub in question is Two Moons On August 27 - The Latest 'Old' Hoax!
Can you have a look please?
Thank you in advance.
Duplicate content flagging can mean that there are other pages on the web that contain very similar content.
Looking at your hub, it not only repeats content that is flagged as "spam" by lots of email systems, but what you are saying about the topic isn't very original (even if it is in your own words) and the links on the hub are the same ones as found on any other page on this same topic on the web. There are actually a lot of web pages that are making the same plea to stop forwarding this hoax email, so as much as it might be useful, it doesn't strike me as original in content.
Hello im allen bruce from united state i,ll love to meet you on my email for persoal chat.. email@example.com..
Welcome to HubPages Allen Bruce. Have Fun. This is a great place.
And, Thank you HubPages for clearing the Duplicate penalty on my hub in question and certifying it as original.
(Hoping to see the hubscore on that hub climbing to its earlier position)
25,000 visits? I gasp, I faint, I drop!
I get up weakly to say that you deserve it, SunsSeven!
If I ever do, it will be due to your amazing hub on increasing traffic.

I am doing a 20 "such and such" quotes about "such and such" hub. I even went back in after they marked it duplicate and made sure 400 of the words are my words, even though I know people googling it aren't going to want to read my words and are instead just going to be coming...

Is there anyway that a feature can be added to Hubpages that identifies where in a hub it thinks there is an instance of duplication.I recently published a hub which was identified as duplicate, I spent hours researching the topic and typing it up, once published in hub pages it was flagged as...

I just had a hub unpublished of course, all the accompanying warnings... Yet, the hub is purely an opinion piece, nothing whatsoever taken from anyone else... So far, this is second, with the same complaint, and it absolutely IS NOT anything but purely organic and original...

The duplicate alert appeared on top of my last hub, which analyses a painting of Caravaggio's. I wanted to place the pic in its biblical context and pasted the relevant verse from the Gospel of Luke. That must have triggered the red alert, I think,as the hub is absolutely unique writing. Even my...
