It is quite disappointing to note that both my traffic and earnings fall since one month. I understand a lot of hubbers face similar situation and they are too concerned and worried. The knowledgeable people are of the opinion that it is Panda effect. Whatever it may be, it is a slap on our confidence and energy. Now I get only one fourth of my usual traffic and earnings. I don't know how to tackle this issue. I had been here since March 2012 and never faced such a serious issue as of now. I find the drop is in my follower list too for it remains intact for months. What else I need to improve, I don't know. Hope things may change to a positive path soon. Dear hubbers, please share your views/tips.
HubPages got slapped by Google updates in the past, and sometimes these Panda effects can take a year to recover from.
sunilkunnoth2012, See this other forum thread about another possible reason for the sudden decline in the past two months.
relache, Welcome back. I'd like to know what you think about what's discussed in that thread.

Sounds like there are lots of changes going on, and it seems that many Hubbers are discouraged. If you were starting from scratch on the site, would you still put in the effort to build your portfolio of hubs here, or would you write primarily for other sites?

The Googlebot visits new hubs within 30-60 minutes while they are in 'Pending' mode and the NOINDEX tag is in place for 24 Hours. This means that the bot does not index the page, and does not return for days or weeks. New pages do not get indexed for days or weeks. This causes lost traffic and lost...

I've been a HP member for five years now and have seen steady, but modestly increasing traffic and earnings until recently. My earnings are now close to what I was seeing three or four years ago. I thought maybe it was a just a blip that I could wait out, but it has continued for months, probably...

Just kidding!I'm seeing dozens of threads from people stressing about losing traffic. Asking if this is the end of Hubpages. Asking if it's pointless writing here anymore. Asking if there is even a point to writing online.I saw my traffic drop by more than 50% in 2011 - when the original Panda...

I don't know what is going on but my traffic has been pushed off a cliff. I am not doing anything differently then when my traffic and earnings were great.
