For some reason the "summary" capsule is highlighted in yellow and won't let me type in it. I can't continue without the summary. My hubs are all about recipes. Also some of the other capsules won't let me type in them, sometimes. Every time I have to click out and start over, it won't except my recipe title because it says it's already taken. But it is my recipe and I have to keep changing it and I don't like to. Could you please help me?

Hi Rachel,
Is this isolated to a particular Hub or all of your Hubs?
If isolated to a specific Hub, please share the title.
Also try clearing your browser cache and restarting your computer.
This just happened with the last hub I was trying to start. The first title was "Blackberry Creamsicle Banana Muffins". Then I changed it to Blackberry Creamcheese Banana Muffins then to The Best Banana Muffins. I didn't want to make changes in the title. Neither time would it let me type in the summary capsule.
Also, how can I get back to my original title, Blackberry Creamsicle Banana Muffins?
I spoke with our engineering team and have confirmed that there is an issue affecting Internet Explorer 11 at this time and the summary.
There are also a few other issues affecting IE11 right now as well.
Currently, I would suggest using a different browser like Firefox, Chrome, or Opera.
I hope that we can resolve the IE11 issues soon and thank you for your continued patience.
Thank you for all your help. It's appreciated.
You can change the title in the HubTool, but the URL (address) cannot be changed once selected.

This should now be fixed.
I tested one of your Hubs in IE11 and was able to change the summary and save the changes.
It is probably a glitch Rachel. Before you get to the point of clicking out, hit the 'Refresh' arrow just left of the URL window up top; or right click on the tab which you are in and click on the 'Reload' button.
If those do not work, try going in to and out of the 'Preview' mode.
Thank you for the information. I will try it.
Rachel Deleting the cache means deleting temporary Internet files in Internet Options.

We recently rolled out a change that makes viewing hubs using a mobile browser a better experience. Basically, we've removed the sidebar and stripped away anything that wasn't essential. We've tested it on the iphone and some versions of android and it works pretty well. However,...

Hi, I just joined and posted my 1st hub a few days back. When I type my hub's heading and do a search, my article did not appear. The heading is "Stop that barking dog.Dog training for behavior problem" Is it because my heading is in two sentences? Even if I type "stop that...

My email to Hub Pages' Team was sent 6/1/14 and read as follow:Dear Team:I have noticed that the entire summary for my hub article does not always show completely in the "featured" box under my profile page. Then, when you click on the article from that section, you can't finish reading...

I was looking over someone's profile page the other day and noticed a misspelled word in one of their summaries. It was clear what the author was trying to say so I just moved on to another hub, happily oblivious. Then today, I was writing a new hub and got to the summary part and worried that I...

What does the A after my hub title mean? When in the "my account" section, and looking at the list of all my hub titles, most have an A at the end of the title, whiles a very few don't. What is the A?
