   Joined here 6 months ago but never wrote. Only started writing in the past few days. Enjoying it. Would love to meet new people, share thoughts, and make new friends.

      Always happy to welcome a new hubber!  One thing I can tell you for sure is that if you really want to learn to write well and be successful at it, you're in the right place.  It takes time because there is much to learn, but in the end, if you stick to it, you will find great personal satisfaction and, most likely, a bit of income , too.

   Good to see you in the forum. When I first wrote online, I never participated in any forum. I just wrote and that did not help me at all. I was just lucky one of the staff in Squidoo then, found my articles and was impressed so they promoted it. I learned my lesson since. The forum is like a learning center for me now. Hope to see you often here.

   Once you start writing and your hub gets featured you will get followers. When someone follows you, you should start following their work. Eventually your comments grow and you can chat with other hubbers.

   If you possess a love for writing which I see you do, then you will love being here. Grant it there are those who have payment issues at this site, but if your love of writing wins out then that is the most important thing I am discussing here. Personally I have honed my writing skills since being on this site. Keep up the good work.

   Welcome. You'll find lots of friendly writers here who are generous with advice, tips AND common sense!! I recommend learning as much as you can before you write your first masterpiece then, when you're all set, create a wonderful hub! I wish you all success. It might not come overnight but you can get satisfaction on HP, both creatively and financially.

             Welcome Dawn. You can start writing hubs as soon as you join, but I recommend that you look around the site first and see what hubs look like. That way, you can choose the features you like best.
