I haven't been around here much of late. That could change. I'd written a hub on my approach to online writing. The whole ball game has changed again and it is no longer true. The advice I give in it is now mostly garbage. That's life online though. I'll have some better stuff on here soon.
Join the club! I wish other writers would do the same - I still see far too many blogs giving outdated advice about online writing.
It is strange looking back at one's work - either you discover that the writing is out of date or that you have come a long way in just two short years. I really don't know how people manage to keep their many hundreds of hubs fresh and current. I have been revisiting mine and I know that like you, there will be better stuff coming soon.
This is exactly why I have always tried to limit the number of hubs I write. Too many can become overwhelming...just think of the new change that came out today on the HP blog about changing the number of words per ad for people who have many, many ads based on the old guidelines.
this reminds me that i have to update my old hub tips, yes i read some hubs with outdated tips too
You could just update the hub to suit the here and now instead of unpublishing it. Keep it aged with new info.
I looked at my most viewed hub awhile ago when it began to plummet in views. I was appalled. The content was really good, but it needed so much work. It is also my most stolen which must say something about plagiarists. Sometimes, I get so side tracked editing hubs I don't get new ones published.
Check out the Learning Tutorials before you start so as not to waste your time and to catch up with any changes. Good luck let me know when you publish something new.
Yes, things do change and some Hubs need to be revisited. I just had to do it today. I created and 'Update' capsule, to previous information.

I already had one post about low traffic. Here is another one. It just keeps going down. I was excited at first about being on Hubpages, but that has changed. Traffic was going up, and I was enthused about writing...

As mentioned in a couple of forum threads recently, Hub Groups (the "More in this Series" module on Hubs) is officially being retired. Groups were created to help Hubbers connect Hubs belonging to a series...

Hi its Louise again, I was wondering if anyone knew how to edit your hubs so that they can be featured and how often you edit them. I am trying to make blogging into a part time job or full time job but don't know...

Writing hubs is not just writing any article, but you need to be precise in your information, so how many hubs can you write in a day?

How many hubs can you really write in one day without affecting the quality of the hub?
