I want to know that what is the maximum score of a hub or hubber? How we can increase it?
100 go to learning center where this information is at. These scores mean nothing. You don't earn any more money if your score is 2 or if it is 999.
Thanks Linda Smith.. I saw a profile whose profile score is 82 and there is no published hub. How is it?
They could have just deleted all of their hubs and moved them. They may be active in the forums, who knows. Nobody knows how these scores are used, calculated etc bc it is a HP secret. They have nothing to do with earnings or search engines. They only mean something to HP and those who chase those scores. Staff and members have tried to get HP to get rid of the scores for some years to no avail.
A hubber score below 85, HP makes all external links no follows, but they end up unfeaturing hubs when they use external links anyway.
I deleted my hubs some months ago. My hubber score has gone down since I stopped participating much in forums, questions and answers. Otherwise, it was about the same as it was with 79 hubs.
Like I said, scores make no sense and mean zip in the long run.
You can have a score of 80,publish more hubs and watch your score drop to 75 They don't mean anything!!! Hub scores are just as useless and secretive as hubber scores are. High or low, earnings are from ads, and sales which has nothing to do with scores. Not Google, nor any search engine knows what your scores are, and really don't care.
Actually Linda, I just want to get do follow links so I am asking about score. If hub and hubber score is not enough, we can't get a do follow back link. Now I connected with you on twitter, I want to know something more about if you don't mind.
Average hub score plays into hubber score somehow, but it's hard to say exactly how. I've had 100 hubber score when my average hub score was five points lower than it is now and I was less active on HP. Publishing a new hub drops hubber score, even if it has an initial individual hub score in the nineties. Editing hubs seems to drop hubber score as well sometimes, even if the edits result in increases in hub scores on the edited hubs. But I've noticed that, over time, the hubber score rises back to and sometimes surpasses its former level.
I think there's an average hub score below which one cannot have a hubber score above 85. What that average is, I have no idea.
You can improve average hub score by working on hubs until they rise in hub score, but it's slow going so you have to be patient.
In my opinion, the best thing you can do to improve your hubber score is to improve your hubs. Edit out errors, improve internal hub organization, and add more text content and high-quality photos to all of your hubs. That's what I'm currently working on when I have time to work on HubPages.
"High-scoring Hubs are rewarded with better coverage and increased exposure while low-scoring Hubs are less likely to be featured on the site."
Does anyone know what that cut-off number is?
I'd bet there are brackets...
90 - 100 You are a Living God and HP advertises you in Reader's Digest.
80 - 89 You are loved and your hub links are scattered here, there, and everywhere.
70 - 79 You are liked and your hub links are somewhat scattered here, there, and everywhere.
60 - 69 Unknown.
0 - 59
Lol!!! I am in the unknown category. My hubber score is only 64 now. It used to be 89 before this new system 2 months back.
I will repost this on FB, with permission pls.
Yep Paradigm and love your description. Judging by my current Hubber score I am thinking that my hubs have been sent to a dungeon somewhere far off in a foreign land never to be seen nor heard from again.
I'm not so sure there's a cut-off number; seems like they put the top scoring Hubs at the top of the list of Hubs on the pages with all the Hubs and if there are a lot of 100s then your 80 might not show up until way down the list and probably will not be found by anyone.
you hub score symbolizes at what age you will get rich on hubpages!
I started editing many of my hubs, when my hubber score suddenly dropped from 89 to 67 in first week of March. I edited half of them, mostly old hubs prior to 6 months. Individual scores increased by some points but again dropped in a month as there is no traffic. Hubber score is swinging daily from 68 to 64 or in between. Today it is 62, just now. I wonder why all this happens. I think my quality is okay mostly and I input all capsules as per standards of HubPages.
yes you can. but i want to connect with you on FB, with permission pls. big_smile big_smile

I've been on here for a few years, and I guess I never really understood the point of these scores. They don't seem to provide any real value to the user and I can't convince myself that they add value because they fluctuate so much. What's the point? Am I supposed to use these scores to tell me...

Can someone tell me what is the 'hub score' please? It seems to have no relevance to the number of page views on my hubs. Thanks!yellowbutterfly

I took a hiatus for awhile from Hub Pages! However, in the past week or so, I have added new hubs participated in forums, asked a question or two, participated with the Hub Hopper, have read some Hubs, yet my Hubber Score is lower than it was when I was doing nothing. I don't get it!

I was sitting pretty at a 95 for a while. I really liked that number. Suddenly it jumped to 97.Call me crazy but I like that it went higher - kind of - sort of - but you see... Now I want to KEEP it.I'm kind of possessive that way. I see a bunch of people with 100 hubber...

For a good number of weeks my hubber score has hovered around the 100 mark. Two days ago it started falling, and as I write this, it is down to 89! If this keeps up, it will be 0 in a week! No rhyme or reason to it, but it leaves me wondering why this is happening. I know...
