Since the stats were updated after being static for a few days, my hub views are way down and still dropping. Is this something others are seeing too and if so, do you think it is to do with the recent Google changes regarding how pages look on mobile devices?

It looks like an error because it doesn't match up to what is showing in analytics.

After the data caught up, my views were the usual that I receive, but then dropped very low - but then, Analytics shows my views are above last week, so I think things are OK.

I also am experiencing a large view decrease on HP since views were static. One of my hubs that receives 300+ views daily is showing only 113. Google Analytics says its really received 395.

I do not think it has anything to do with mobile, I am confident this is an HP issue since Google Analytics has confirmed the page view discrepancy.

As it looks like a few others have mentioned here, there's a bug with the stats that our Engineering Team is working on right now. Thanks for your patience.

Great post - thank you for sharing. I was wondering what the end result might be this time.

Is there an animal name associated with this mobile mandate update? I used to love Penguins and Pandas until Google gave them new meaning for me!

I'm seeing the same issue on my end...looks like my normal "average" views per day have dropped by half and are still dropping...doesn't seem right to me. Hopefully it's a bug? Otherwise, I'm scared.

It is a bug. I confirmed the discrepancy through Google Analytics.

It's a bug. There was a similar bug not long ago where the total went down to 0. Unless I was dreaming about it yikes

Look at Google Analytics for accurate results. The HubPages stats are incorrect on the statistics page, as well as the traffic sources page.
