I'd like feedback on my Hub: Top 10 Boys Toys - Christmas 2015

    Hi Hubbers,

I thought I'd done a pretty good job with this post. It's unique, original content with quality images, a video and a nice flow and layout.

It does have a commercial focus, because it's a Christmas gift guide, but I didn't think that was a problem if it's done in the right way. Am I missing something?

Can someone please give feedback on my Hub Top 10 Boys Toys - Christmas 2015 (must be signed in to view).

What can I do to improve? I really want to make some great guides on this platform. Thanks!

I think it would be better with your own images, to show you do actually have experience of the toys.

Could it be "overly promotional"? Hubpages frowns on hubs that are created solely to promote products and services. See http://hubpages.com/learningcenter/publ … d_22732854

That makes sense. My own photography and less Amazon modules may do the trick. I'll give it a go anyway. Thanks guys! smile

That might well do the trick. I like what you say in your bio about bringing in one of your family members to review... that might just be the value-added element to get past the commercialism bit.  Good luck!
