Is there a way to track traffic (in addition to the statistics page) for individual hubs? Does anyone use google analytics for this?
Yes, I use it all the time. I love being able to see visitors in 'realtime'.
On each hub you can click the word 'stats' at the top to see views just for that hub.
In Google Analytics you can go into Behaviour>Site Content>All Pages to see a breakdown by page.

On some of my hubs (but not all) when I click the stats button, a message pops up: "Something went wrong. Please try again. And when you get a chance, you may want to report this issue in the Hubpages forums."
