    Hi Hubbers,

I'd like some help with passing the Quality Assessment Process. Will you please give feedback on my Hub Man With A Van Services. What can I do to improve? Thanks!

      Hi kimbles! smile

I liked your hub. It is very informative. Also, I would like to add these points:

      1. Correct some of the typos in your hub.

      2. Attribute the images that you have included by adding the source name or URL. Make sure they are in the public domain (copyright free). Pixabay, Pexels.com and Morguefile.com are great to use. Flickr is good too. But, you need to search for images in the Creative Commons there.

I hope this helps. Good luck!

Thank you, I did source the images and I was denied publication as they said it was too spammy so I deleted the links all apart from one. Not sure which typos as I did run it though MS Word and it never picked any up, I am using a UK dictionary not USA?

Read it out loud. That helps sometimes. Something to do with your brain seeing the words in a different way. The trouble with writing and then editing your own work is that your eyes will slide over an error over and over.

Make sure that your images are in the public domain, as I mentioned before.

When I saw the title, I suspected it was going to be a spam article promoting your own company. But it's not; it's a good informative article. So all I can see are some typos such as missing question marks, spelling 'it's' instead of 'its' and writing piano with a capital P.

As a fellow Brit, I'm always wary of writing British-based articles without mentioning it in the title. I always keep in mind that Hubpages has a global readership, and things like talking about money in pounds might confuse rather than inform. So I always try to include it in the title, such as 'Earning with UK cashback sites', 'Thailand visa requirements for UK passport holders', etc. (Now it sounds like I'm spamming lol). Anyway, I hope the home country focus isn't the reason your article isn't featured as Americans do it all the time.

Many thanks, I found the it's and I will see where I can pop in that it is referencing the UK

I saw a tiny typo, I think it said "word" instead of "world," but I've already forgotten; it could be the opposite.

I agree with chasmac; the title sounds like the article will be an advertisement for a particular van service. I think if I were you, I would try changing the title to something like "Tips for van rental in the UK," or "UK Van Rental Do's and Don'ts," maybe even edit your hub slightly by numbering your tips and title it along the lines of "ten tips for successful van rental in the UK." I hear over and over that titles with a number do very well  i.e., "8 ways to do this" or "7 top tips for that," etc.

'Van Hire in the UK' would be better. We don't often say rental in connection with vehicles.

Thanks to the theraggededge, and sorry to kimbles for the bad advice, as you can probably tell I'm in the USA.

You still have quite a few punctuation errors - using commas instead of full stops or semi colons, and sometimes no comma where there should be one. Also you run multiple questions together instead of separating them with question marks.

You've also typed 'so' instead of 'do': "Next time you are looking to make a purchase of considerable bulk, so [do] a quick search for a man with a van ..."

That's exactly the kind of typo that spell checkers don't catch.

And like I said before, pianos don't have a capital 'P'.

I still think the 'man with a van' phrase might be a problem. I don't know if it's a known phrase in the US. If not, then the American editors will take it literally and might decide it's spammy or strange. For us Brits, it's a well-known colloquial (and rhyming) phrase, of course, meaning some guy who has a van and offers to transport stuff for people - not the same as van hire or a professional removals company. We need an American to confirm. I bet 'white van man' also isn't understood over there.
