Some of the hubs are terrific, I have waxed lyrical, about all my favorites, Londongirl, Anjichugh, Countrywomen, and AEVans, and more recently Cindyvine Eric Graudins and Badcompany . I read all their Hubs, and often just don't get the time to comment. I actually know that these Hubs are written, in most cases just for the Hell of it.
But some of the work that goes into them is absolutely incredible.
Do any of you actually have a figure that you believe your Hubs are worth. I have heard all the passive income stuff, but really that is just a lukewarm dream to my mind, and some of the Hubs are only good enough for that type of monetary exchange. But the Good ones.
What do you think.
How about a couple of hours in the back of my '94 Dodge, Big Boy!
I just write for enjoyment and getting a comment is like get a fix lol, so don't think what I write is worth any $$$
Your stuff is really good tho Cindy, and now they have that challenge and my e mails in box is a brimmin over with mostly sad rushed stories......
I am only going to read my favs, and ignore those challenge ones, unless of course they are in my fav. pile.
Cheers
mandy
I always think my stories are worth more than what I get lol and they must be( to Goggle) .Was trying to make sense of adsense earnings and noticed that I earned 25c and they had "the potential" to earn $18....hmmm.
Im no math whizz kid but geeze louise.
Hope someone proves me wrong cuz at this rate I cant even buy you guys an ice-cream lol
Kia Ora Eagle Kiwi
Its B.S eh, How can they pay the peanuts that they do....
Still freezing over here........
Lit the fire again, tonite, (Like the American spelling)
Why I thank you young lady, my hubs are worth a smile and if one raises just a grin then I have been paid in full : )
Enjoy yer day !
I don't write my more detailed and research-heavy hubs for the money, it would be a bad deal if I did (-:
Can any body explain the $$$$ to me,
Is it the amount of money for that Hubs,
or it don't meant nothing, help? anyone,
I believe it's an estimation of that hubs potential earning power, that doesn't necessarily mean if it has lots of $$$$ your gonna earn big, but based on the topic, word count, etc. of the hub the more $ the higher the likely value of cost per click via Adsense etc.
Not a whole lot, but it is fun to make a bit off of doing something I enjoy. In the future, I plan to venture into some more profitable writing, based on key word use. It is fun to experiment, and see what sells.
Thank you Mrvoodoo. so where do they display your earning in $ for me to figure out, where?
Well I don't think there are too many people here wrtite hubs for $$$ coz I don't.
But we can see that some hubbers write hubs for $$$ or for some things else, maybe, backlinks? Of course not to violate the Hubpages policy
I write for the experience and like Badco says...a great response is worth more than $.
I write health articles to keep up with the latest and greatest in my field. I also write Romance for the escape.
Do I want to eventually earn off of what I love to do? Of course!
Presently I do earn from what I love doing and that's nursing.
Perhaps by the time that I retire, I'll be a good enough writer to be considered professional and I can make a living as a writer. Who knows. One thing is for sure. Practice makes perfect.
Take care,
Adrianna
So long as others enjoy reading them I enjoy writing them, worth to me is when I can make someone smile or have given some advice.
Being new to HP, Iam yet to earn over here, but it feels great to contribute to this community and also learning from so many people out here, the way they write and express themselves. it gives me a sense of achievement when I know my readers have enjoyed my hubs. Nothing can beat that. Cheers to HP
I am also new here...yet learning all.
twitter n face book too..
Created 100 fans..waiting for more...
I learned by reading others...
hoping to do my best here by witting on different subjects and many social things...
thanks for encouraging and asking abt all...
The payoff for me is converting a non-romance reader to take a second look. That's the best!

I have created a pitiful 29 hubs in four years. But I'm a lot more active on facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google Search. You people MUST LIVE ON HERE! How in the world do you find subjects for crying out loud? You must be just writing for writing sake. In order to write something, I have to FEEL IT,...

This was a nice experiment, but I've ultimately concluded that this site blows. The two competing interests are making money and writing quality articles. Mind you, I've written a handful of stellar hubs, yet I haven't a penny to show for it. Sure, I have about 100 or so impressions on AdSense, but...

Do you delete useless negative comments?I have seen this happen a few times (on my own hubs too) where people write senseless negative comments such as "this is horrible" without any real feedback or reasons why they dislike the article. I understand that no hub will please everyone, but...

I've been here for almost two years now and have published 25 featured hubs. I calculated my average views per hub per day as 4. It is actually a bit better than that because the numbers involved the beginning period when I had only a couple of hubs and no views at all. But you Hubbers out there...

I have 3 hubs all increasing in hubivity value. But my personal score has fallen to 0. Why?I am new only been around for a few days. I could understand if my hub values were going down. But they are going up while my personal score has fallen off a cliff. Any advice...

I never get sales from these anymore. Should I just delete them so that it makes the adsense ads more enticing?
