The thing about fans ...

   ... is I don't always know you're there. It would be nice if hubpages had some way of indicating to you that A) someone has joined your merry band and B) who they are.
   
   I look at my list every few days and try to work out who's new etc. I like to know you're there and who you are. I like company and for me, the more the merrier.
   
   Please say hello. That's all. Just hey frog and then I know you've arrived at Frogpot Island. When I have The Knowledge, I can come and say hey back. I am a frog, my lilypad is big and I'm friendly
   
   Am I alone in this? Thoughts anyone? Probably been discussed before but I'm a slacker and I'd like some personal input

      You are right froggy, i am a fan to my fans who sent me fan mails. When you send a fan mail to a Hubber, he/she immediately acknowledges your presence.

      heehee...get in my van, I have candy...LOL  just teasin' froggy they tell you sort of on your hubtivity on your profile-- someone probably answered that, but I haven't scrolled through all the answers (I'm bad I know) 
      
      PS-- when I fan someone I try to leave fan mail too so they have a better chance of seeing it.

   frog, HP provides at least two ways for you to know you have new fans.
   
   1)"[such-and-such] became your fan" appears in the Hubtivity under your avatar pic on your profile page. (Also appears in general Hubtivity.)
   
   2) If you miss new fans in Hubtivity, scroll down past the list of hubs on your profile page, click "See all of frogdropping's fans" and keep clicking "Next" until you get to the last page. That's where they'll be if they haven't left fan mail.
   
   Personally, I'd prefer newest fans be shown first in the fan section.  Would make it easier not to miss new ones.

   Jama - yup. You're right. But the fan info thingy works if you check the page out. But I'm usually buggering about in here too much I agree with the 'newest fans first' thing, good idea that.

      Are they funny? Not sure. Strange and unusual would be a better description And I like my coffee sweet. I have a bitter tongue and need some sugar on it. And cool it down with milk please. Coffee just ain't coffee unless it's loaded with cane and grass
