It has been years since my Hubber score hit a hundred...and then it was only for two days.  All of a sudden my score has jumped up.  Nice surprise but don't know why it's happening.  I've certainly done nothing different!  Maybe the team felt sorry for me? lol

@TIMETRAVELER2 -- Congratulations! I have been at this going on seven years and at no time have I come near 100. Keep up the fine work.

It shows you're really doing well. You've put much effort into your writing and getting almost all your stuff on some of the network sites. Congratulations!

Me too, but it has been happening quite a lot over the past six months or so:)

Congrats. Feels good. But not one of us knows exactly how the HS is worked out! Mysterious.

Thanks guys.  I just felt that it was odd that suddenly my score rose so high after years of dragging along.  The scores really don't mean much, just a little ego boost lol!

My hubber score has just soared to 99 (where I think it should be). But for months i has been around 90. Nothing I did seemed to move it. Today I not only had a 99 hubber score, but all my hub scores are way up. I was having an average hub score of 85, now it is 90. And I suddenly see about 15 hubs at 100. I like it, but I wonder if it issome kind of mistake. Scores of 100 used to be rare.

Yes, my scores have also recently jumped. In everything. I have been wondering about that.

I've bounced on and off 100 a couple of times this last week or so as well. It's the first time for me!

Congratulations on your milestone. I’ve often wondered why scores go up or down the way they do.

My score has been in the 85-89 range for months but has jumped to a 96 over the past two days. I don’t understand why because I have not been doing anything differently.

The highest I've seen mine was at 97 or 96 quite a few years ago. It's been around 85 for the most of the last few years, and I've seen a slow rise in the past week or two. Just like you I've not done anything different. Congrats on the 100 smile

I am suddenly down to 53 from 70. Does switching off the hub pages earning program lower your score or  hub pages has changed the scoring protocols.

Reading through this, I suspect that hp has changed the scoring protocols.

I noticed the same.  Mine jumped from 87 to 95 today.  Wish I knew what I did so that I could continue doing it.  (smile)

I've been in the mid 80s for a while. yesterday, my score hit 92. Is that an anomaly?

Ditto to the 100 score, but I've figured out why. The Hubber score is calculated by a complex formula that starts with your shoe size. This is multiplied by your weight divided by x, which is determined by a careful study of the entrails of a dead ant. Like a bear getting ready to hibernate I've been putting on weight in recent weeks, hence the increase in my Hubber score. Not many people know about this.

Immediately after posting the above, my Hubber score dropped from 100 to 99. They're watching us folks.

    Very cool.
Mine jumped a few digits from where i normally sit year after year, I also notice earnings have jumped a smidgeon with the same number of views year after year.
    Christmas boost?

My CPM has also gotten higher in the last few days. I hope all these changes are lasting changes. I like higher scores because it is an ego boost and I like higher CPMs for obvious reasons.

I wrote this some years back but don't think I ever posted it.
    Hubberscore/ Hubscore : A Poem

    Hubberscore/Hubscore, what does it mean?
What is the highest you've ever seen?
Does it mean that you're better than others around you?
Or is it designed to  quite simply confound you?

I've been at a hundred at least twice this week,
I didn't  rewrite, repost or re- tweak.
My pageviews have plummeted, my stats are pathetic.
My earnings are negligible; I have a headache.

But I should be happy and thankful and glad,
'Cause I'm at one hundred and that can't be bad.
An early old hub I wrote about mice
Had the century number displayed once or twice.

Now I am rushed to get this posted
For my three place numbers soon will be toasted.

Happy feeling, TIMETRAVELER2. I've noticed that most of us have been gifted with this ego boost, mid to high 90s or 100!  Very cool. smile

I assume the algos changed and that is why my hubber score went down and now another change that pushed t back up. It also pushed up hub scores.  It is so frustrating to now know why. Is there something I should do more of? Is there something I can correct? No way to know. .

Unfortunately Google likes to fiddle around with things every so often.  It is very frustrating, but usually things calm down again after awhile.  Don't panic.

This is very much a pseudo ego boost given how meaningless these scores are, but if that helps motivate some then it's a good thing.

Just remember it's your traffic and CPMs that actually count. I'd rather have a hubber score of 50 with 10K+ daily views and 10+ CPMs than a perfect 100 with half those numbers.
