Okay this should serve as a warning to others to not over promote your hubs. I only promote a hub for once a week in each group, but somehow it was labeled as spam. I lost half of the facebook group I used as promotional platform and that includes several hundreds of visitors.
As someone who runs a few Facebook groups, um, I probably would count that as spam. I mean "once a week", doesn't sound like "when it was so relevant that if I didn't post it someone else would."
You mean you promoted the same article every week?
Even if you share an article in different groups each week, you will be sharing them on the main page only. Because all groups are part of the main page. So, it will be appearing on the main page too often which will be treated as spam.
Nope, I promote different hubs each week. I always throw caution to the wind so I won't annoy my group mates. Facebook is now doing tougher stance on spam news. Unfortunately blog articles became casualties too.
Yeah, Facebook is tough on anything it sees as spam. I don't know if using url shortners would help. Hubpages links may have been flagged as 'spammy'. Just a thought.
Thanks! Probably I did violated some community rules. Anyway good thing I still have reddit.

Most of these 'communications' are unsolicited-like hair restoration ads!-though they claim I did subscribe. I've spent most of the day unsubscribing from all of them, and I have 3,604 to go. Needless to say, I'm exhausted and somewhat p*ssed. No time for writing!I understand...

Folks, what would you think of a comment that reads like this:"Nice hub you got here. Thanks for the driving tips. It gives me new ideas for my next article. Kudos!"(This is the full quote of the comment.)The person is a Hubber, has been here only 3 months, and has only 4 hubs.Should I...

Should I, or should I not, join facebook? As a writer (though not one who depends on it for an income) I have been invited to join facebook a few times. I know, too , that it can increase a writer's range. However, I hear so many bad things about facebook and its pitfalls that I'm very...

I think today was the third time a particular hubber commented by pasting in a bunch of keywords from my post and adding something meaningless like "Nice job" along with his off HP web site address.I left the comment there as a warning to others but warned him that I see what he is up to...

I recently posted a poem in a Facebook poetry group. The poem is a mixture of serious sentiment and humor. And you must keep in mind that in this particular group people have often posted poems glorifying dangerous and deviant sex acts. My poem is tame in comparison. There is no gratuitous...
