How much snow do you have locally right now?

They were saying we would have 4 to 7 inches by this afternoon (right now it only looks like 1 to 1 1/2 inches). Parts of Lake co. up by Lake Erie are near 2 feet of snow (from what I can recall from the news). As I type this it is still snowing here in Lakemore/Akron Ohio and the snow is beating the snow blows who just can't keep up.

I live in Pittsburgh and there is very little snow on the ground. However, we have been in a major deep freeze since before Christmas. The temperature has rarely been above 10 degrees for this entire week. They are predicting several inches of snow for tonight.

I guess it could be worse. Erie, PA--130 miles north of Pittsburgh--had over 60 inches of snow in two days. I have several friends from college days who live there and the stories are horrific. I have been through my share of Erie winters myself and it was never very pleasant.

That is so cool (warm), it's winter here on Vancouver Island, but the ocean front is milder. Inland only a few miles the temperatures drop significantly, Snow is heavier. Hazardous driving conditions  on and off. Road crews are busy keeping things safe.

Zero. I live in Phoenix Arizona and I love it this way. I used to live in smaller town in Illinois and I do not miss the levels of snow I got there.

Please trust me when I say after a while you don't enjoy the snow. As a child the show is great but as an adult, it just gets in the way.

I am dealing with no snow. It's 7pm a million degrees and I am sweating. Yesterday I got sunburned hanging the washing out.

I agree Mike.  I loved it as a child, but it's such a nuisance now!  I hate having to walk to work in the snow.

It's snowing right now here in New Jersey. We're not expecting much more than an inch or two by day's end though.

No snow or rain in So Cal. Even the mountains  which are usually white capped by this time are bone dry...cold night and warmer-than-usual day.

Oh wow. And here I thought the weather was colder than usual in the Bay Area (it is, at least for us!) Reading through this thread, and seeing friends' Facebook posts, I'm glad I don't live in the northeast and midwest anymore!

    Stay warm, everyone!

Pittsburgh received about three inches of snow today and temperatures with the wind chill are now about -10. No jogging today.

We had snow on Christmas Day for the first time in many years. (I live near Vancouver in British Columbia.) Just tiny patches of snow are left on the ground now, though.

No snow here, in fact, it's 90°F (32°C). We're 3° south of the equator in Brazil.
