I met a lady recently and she is from Madagascar, she was going to live in Portugal, after a short Trip around a whole pile of Places. She made $10,000 writing these very short stories, and her English was not brilliant, (What got me was that the money was made over a very short time span. I wrote down the name of the site and her Cellphone Number, thinking that I had covered all options. About a week ago, I decided to give her a ring as I could not find the site on the Net.
But found that the Cellphone Number was invalid. She read my Hubs, showed me her stories and told me I should try them, she had also showed me a summary of her earnings, it was not based on Affiliate, at all and seemed to be solely for the writing, some of which had been translated into other languages.
As the trail has gone dead I now hope someone else has heard of it. All the stories were about Interior design Paint Finish Faux Finishes and Exterior design., so I am not sure if it is a Specialist site nor am I sure I am spelling it correctly.
Ekakabanique. That sounds like a brand of dog food!
Hope you find out though. I just googled it and the only hit I got was this page.
I have googled it and same. But I saw it written down on the paper summary and have tried all ways of spelling, and can't figure why it isn't appearing.
This happened to me once before with an art site, the annoying thing is that I can't get hold of tyhe one person, that can tell me what I am doing or spelling wrongly.
I have not heard of that one, but I am writing for the examiner.com, which I hear will soon also expanding into other countries. I think you might like it Mandy because it is not affiliated with Google and you make money based on how many people visit. I also write on squidoo, but I have not had as many views there.
It all sounds a bit dodgy to me, especially as her cellphone number turned out to be invalid.
Online writers are always discussing money-making opportunities, so I find it hard to believe such a spectacularly successful site wouldn't have been mentioned on these forums in the two years I've been here.
On the other hand, I can't see what she stood to gain by stringing you the story.
