         I was actually one, it was where they get newbies some attention for their work. They have a contest of sorts but mostly its just to highlight new hubbers. To be honest, its a good thing.

                  goldentoad has been a NuggetI am not sure where it goes from there,(Hey I bet my bestie friend on Hub pages has been a Nugget lots atimes lol)So He probably can enlighten uis. Just a publicity for newbies..... All my stuff is so shockingly grammatically wrong, I'll never make nugget boo hoo.

   Sorry Mandy, but you have to be a newbie.  The HP definition of a newbie is 60 days or less.
   
   GT's right, it's to shine a light on new hubbers who write quality hubs.  It offers encouragement and traffic, shows other newbies what a good hub looks/reads like, and introduces them to the community.
   
   So, it is a good thing, honest.

   I believe Hubnuggets were something to do with funride. I'm not 100% sure ... I read about the origins in the blog section a few weeks ago.

   Maybe they should start a weekly hub burger award for the people who no longer qualify to be a newbie.  So you have the Hub Mob, Hub Nugget and Hub Burger, or call it the Hub Steakout Award.  That might sound better than the Hub Burger in retrospect.
