Build a couple more similar themed websites and link them to your hub, beeing the 'anchor text' the title of your hub. Dont link your hub back to these sites. A good couple place to start is wetpaint.com and squidoo.com. then you can pick the RSS feed from your sites ( there is orange icon with some sort of white 'waves' somewhere in your sites) and post it in a service like for example feedburner.com which is owned by Google. You should see your site ranking in a few days after this process. Hope that helps.

You basically need links to your hub, preferably from related sites. But it's also important to use the right keywords in your hub title that fit what people are looking for, and that aren't used by too many other people.

If you are writing about health issues, promote them to some support group web sites.  Also, write about a topic that isn't focussed on.  If google can't find something better you will be #1 quickly!
