The reason I said that was to keep out the people who use "women" as their avatars but are not women, but are men.
I knew that! that's what I meant by "the context" - and I'll just say this - if you had read a bunch of my hubs and determined that I was one of your favorite women hubbers and then messaged me with a request for a pic and bio and permission to quote from hubs I would have said yes, of course, but I don't agree with the method of asking arbitrary hubbers who find your thread to join the "top 200" - do you see what I'm talking about? that in addition to the phrase "real women" has me thinking that its a lovely gesture to want to increase women writers' hub traffic, but I will probably not do it at the risk of making people think I'm a snob or whatever. Plus you had just said that you thought women hubbers got more traffic etc. and so I'm not sure why you're doing this? I like you anyway, Cags and do not mean to disparage your effort but you will understand if I am very wary of late about what I do and say in the forums
It's understandable. I get it. My point goal is to help. I'm not taking the TOP 200? What gave you that idea? You act like I am trying to degrade you. I know hundreds of women online, just from here alone. NOT of them are my followers. I didn't want to do this and restrict it to those who follow my writing. I wanted to post as many pictures, bios and links, as I can fit into one hub, without making it extremely, extremely, long.
I am not sure if your anger is with me, or you've read something into what I've said, but make no mistake, my intent is in helping them draw even more traffic, if at all possible. It is more exposure for their profile, work that they themselves do not have to do. I'm not charging anyone for doing this. I am resigned to the fact that you are angry? But, I do not think you've incorporated all the knowledge to understand.
If there is anyway I can help relieve your apprehension, please let me know.

Now THAT would make a terrific hub - I am so curious I am about to go take a pill for it!Well, believe it or not, there is absolutely no need to put it into a Hub. There isn't enough information on it and besides that it's all about self-control. Which, yes, I'm pretty good with. On the forums, it seems my words sometimes get the best of me, because I free-write my words. Which means, the words come directly out as I think them, without checking with my conscience. I know I yell at times, and in real life my voice will get louder, if I don't seem to be getting my point across. I've never hit a child out of anger, I've never hit a women, even after her having a 12" blade between my legs. I have had to fights in my entire life and I disapprove of violence in general. I take out my frustration on things like beating up on my pillow or just stepping out and away from what's driving it, and letting out a loud roar at the top of my lungs. I am always under control of my anger. It was something I learned as a child.

How are you today?Cags - re: the releasing methods: and it sounded so much more mysterious than that! Oh~! ok - I do that, kinda, I like to meditate and I find that the mind begins to sorta take over in my life so that I have dealt with the emotion that poured into me almost before I realize it is there - I do not hold it down, instead I let it flow through - and it is really quite envigorating - I do this with all kinds of emotions, not just anger. I am thinking a lot right now about how my word choices earlier sounded like anger to you, and I am analyzing it a bit to better communicate. I have what some have told me is a very "critical mind" which means that I am always evaluating - I try not to be judgmental, but I allow myself to evaluate things more consciously than I used to. So now, when there is a question or a request or a plan going on in my life I quite carefully examine, evaluate and make a choice. Whereas, before when I was living quite uselessly and without much conscious thought - I did not even know I had choices, let alone could evaluate and make wise decisions all on my own! For me it is not easy to keep from being overly critical of others and the world in general, but much of the meditation exercises I do are aimed at training the mind to stay in that calm buddha place. - hey - you pushed the button! the MEGA BUTTON!!!! you win~
