tons.  there's too many to name to be honest. however, these are just some of the ones i grew up playing that i still play sometimes to this day.

              final fantasy VII
              final fantasy chronicles
              final fantasy anthology
              final fantasy X

              Dot Hack series
              Xenogears
              metal gear solid 1, 2, and 3

and many others.  these are just some of the ones i enjoyed the most though.  how about you?  what games are your favorite thus far?

  28. Beth100 profile image70
    Beth100posted 15 years ago

a moth?  I see....we have strawberry moths up here, and are also known as humming bird moths.  They have clear wings and fly like a humming bird.  Also, they drink nectar like the bird and can even hover.  They're quite rare.  Do  you know the name of your moth?

  29. Nick B profile image76
    Nick Bposted 15 years ago

Yup. It's a Hummingbird Hawk Moth. They originate in the South of France, but are known to fly up to the south west of England if the weather's warm enough.

Ah, that explains why I haven't seen another one.

I pale in comparison to you!

I only let the boys play a handful which include EA, District 9, Red Faction (I can own the guys in this one), COD and I can't think of any others off hand.  Like I said, I don't always play and I won't upgrade their system.  lol  They're stuck with the PS2 and if they're really good, one of the guys will bring either their PS3 or their Xbox for my boys to borrow and I'll let them plug it in.  Yea, mean mom!  lol

I don't know how they stay up -- it's 4 am here and they're still going like it's noon!!!  yikes

    1. profile image0
Stevennix2001posted 15 years agoin reply to this

lol.  hey there's nothing wrong with a ps2.  besides, thats what i have right now anyways.  i don't know how much ps3's are up in canada, but down here they're like around 500 dollars after taxes, the last time i checked.  which is still fairly high if you ask me, as im broke.  lol.

as far as your kids goes, it doesn't surprise me.  you know how young people are.  besides, i remember when i was back in high school, i think i stayed up for like 2 days straight without sleeping at all.  now if i try to do that even for like one day, i'll faint and pass out.  lol.  it's amazing what your able to do when your younger.

  34. Beth100 profile image70
    Beth100posted 15 years ago

I thought it was me who made you faint and pass out!  lol

Yea, and all the combinations for the actions.  Boggles my mind!!  PS3s up here aren't that expensive anymore.  They're blowing them out -- gearing up for the Christmas upgrade and sales.  You can pick one up here with 16GB for around $400.  That includes the paddle and game.  If you're really good at negotiating, they'll toss in another game plus some online time.  Either way, I'm not spending that kind of money.  The games are expensive - $60 each at the minimum.  Last time I looked, Halo 3 was $75, COD was $80 and the more popular ones were over $80.  They get you one way or another...I'm still trying to decode the disks.... (ssshhhhh!!!)

oh you still do, beth. wink  besides, who needs games when i can be with you? wink  lol

yeah, that's another reason why i haven't bought any of the new systems yet.  although i am tempted to get a wii since that's the only console where both the system and games are at a reasonable price though.  and don't worry, your secret is safe with me.  lol.

  35. Beth100 profile image70
    Beth100posted 15 years ago

Yea, thought about the Wii too, but it's really expensive up here.  The console alone is over $300 plus the accessories are not included.  By the time I purchase the system so that it's usable, I'm looking at over $500!!  Yikes!!  That can buy me a month's supply of Starbucks!!  lol

    1. profile image0
Stevennix2001posted 15 years agoin reply to this

wow really?  i didn't realize they were that expensive up there.  i know down here, the last time i checked they were like around 250, and cheaper if you go with a used one.  another system i considered was the psp, as one guy i know showed me you can actually download free games and movies on there if you know a lot about gadgets.  (shhh)  don't tell anyone i told you that though.  lol

I'm so bloody tired, I can't think straight.  But here goes:

grandfather of my son's friend asks me why I always have the men surrounding me and why all my friends are men.  His son's exwife is a friend of mine, and she keeps asking me the same question.  Just to top things off he asks me out for a date.  He's at least 20 years my senior and, trust me, not my type.  I don't know what to make of this since I did not flirt or lead him on (and I know some people would assume that I did).  My daughter was standing next to me when he asked, and she choked on her water.  In a way, it was lucky for me because I had to tend to her rather than answer his questions.  He tried to broach the subjects again, but I was once again saved by his son (my son's friend's dad).  I'm not looking forward to soccer this week, but since I coach, I have to be there.....  Anyone of you men want to pose as my BF??

    1. profile image0
Stevennix2001posted 15 years agoin reply to this

sure, i'd love to help you out beth, but i don't have any money to get to canada though.  sorry.  however, if i lived closer to you, then i wouldn't mind helping you out by pretending to be your bf. who knows?  you might end up liking the idea so much that i could become your real bf. wink

seriously though, i think you should just be honest with the guy though.  just tell him that your not looking for a relationship at the moment, but your flattered by his interest.  then offer if you two can be just friends.  im sure he'll understand.  anyway, i hope that helps though.
