    @ Mark -- I'm only here for a very short spell!  Have to be at a meeting tomorrow for 6 am  ^..^   We can't set sail tonight -- cloudy skies and chance of snow!!!  Tomorrow night might be more clear.

       Beth, I miss talking to you and when we do it is short and SWEET as you are SWEET my DEAR. Yep, sounds good, we will check out the weather tomorrow night and see if it is Okay to sail and if we do, we should bring some leftover Turkey just in case we run a ground and are stuck for a couple of days....

    I'm sharing Thanksgiving dinner in about 3 minutes or so with 16 others at my daughter's in-laws.  I was up early and joined my daughter to help with some of the prep work.  It's been about 5 years since I've been 'home' for Thanksgiving, so I am enjoying the festivities and food.  Have a great day everyone.

          It's when the pilgrims 'survived' their first year in the new country (america) and had a 'joyous' celebration.  All symbolic I'm sure, but historically we give thanks for all of the blessings we've received-the abundance of the harvest, etc.  That is why it happens in the fall. 
          
          I'm sure all of the wonderful history buffs can fill in the details.  I have a writers mind and tend to glorify and paint whatever picture I feel justifies the question, LOL     
          
          Shuvo-check the hubs I'm sure there are plenty that have been written about the subject.  Mainly it is a focus on gratitude and blessings.  Try hubbing those words.

       Hello Beth!!! I just got back from the dentist with that bad one I told you about. Thanksgiving it killed me and now infected. So antibiotics and have to get two (2) pulled on Wednesday   Can you hold my hand I'm a baby when it comes to that stuff

          Hi Mark, It's 5 pm Sunday and I had a great flight back. sorry about your tooth problems.  I hope you have a good dentist..that makes all the difference in the world!  Movie was good and all 4 of the grandkids were well behaved.  Not bad considering two are toddlers and two have ADD/ADHD
