@ saleheen -- thanks for your support in my thread. I'm a bit miffed (upset.... nose out of joint.. blah blah blah) at one of the respondents. Or perhaps I'm just a bit sensitive? But I have never considered a mathematical question to be "....an atrocious question ... posed by a person who, from her logo, appears to be of a radically different kind ..." and having that somehow turn into a question about me.

Beth, I was confused with your question. The information you provided can't form a parabola as far as I am concerned. Whatever, as I saw you had got your answer so I didn't bother to figure out if I was missing anything.

It is freezing and very windy here and I know you must be so cold too. We have to fuel up the yacht
and head South. Florida is in the mid 70's today and we will fit in the just fine. We can look up Klara, take Denise, Sophie , Diane , Steven, Charlie, Saleheen and who ever else what to get into the warmth.
The Boat is large enough for everyone, Plus bring some extra Bikinis because we will be staying till Spring time.

@ mark -- well, made it through a snowstorm last night.... furnace stopped running for some odd reason and I can make ice cream in my kitchen without the freezer! ha ha ha

Doing fine Steven and just sitting here writing , guess what yep one more hub. It seem to me I'm just not happy if I can't write here on HP.

@ saleheen -- yes, I made an error in reading the graph. The vertex was -.75 not -.5. If you use -.75, it will work and graph properly.

I have been busy all day but I did get my Christmas cards now. They are cute with a photo of me with my four grandkids and I'm reading them the Night before Christmas. Had to go to Rite Aid to get them printed out.

I'm beat. Stay warm, I understand there is more snow headed through the midwest. My brother lives in Minnesota and they already got 18 inches!
