Klara-OUCH-I feel for you. I've been working out hard lately and my right knee started giving me shooting pains yesterday evening. I couldn't even walk the dog last night. Missed Zumba this morning as well.

@ KLARA - I have to tell you this one Klara..Linda and I go to McDonalds last night. All she wanted was her medium Hazelnut Ice coffee. the girl comes to the register and says someone will be with you in a minute. I said Ok. she moves over to the next register and say "Hi welcome to McDonalds can I take your order?" I said arn't you the same girlthat said someone will be with you in a minute and she said yep that was me. Holy crap am I drunk or something LOL to Linda.
THEN she make the drink and hands it to me and ask me is that for here or to go?
I said well I think she will drink half here and take the other half to go. Damn I never even experienced that stuff in my drinking days
I thought you would get a laugh out of that Klara. really messed my head up on that one She might have a multiple personality disorder?

Linda and I laughed all night about that one And for me I reinacted it over and over and it was more funny each time I did it.
Oh then we went to walmart in which we call it( WALL) for short lol and I have to tell you there are some sights there.
I know I am far from perfect but gosh these people are hilarious to watch. I might just sit on the bench outside nthe store and make some Youtube videos. I'll make a fortune and the way they dress is bizzare.That was a great story Mark! Those things probably did happen when you were drunk, you just didn't remember them. And yes, Walmart is an interesting place to see many interesting things!

Good afternoon everyone! We have our rainy season going on right now, which means that plans get cancelled all the time due to the rain. That's okay though. We needed the rain badly and now everything has been restored to its natural state. I love summer rainshowers. I am not complaining.

Hey Klara, looks like everyone has a dog. I never had a dog in my life until Linda brought Mason home. I was a hot Italian because I said know dogs, BUT..... as time past (now 5 years ) I have grown to love Mason like my family. He is a peice of work and smart as a wip.
I never had a dog when growing up even though my parents always ask me if I wanted one and I would say no.
Unconditional Love they give and so loyal. Whe i arrive home from work he can hear my loud truck and know its me and goes crazy until I walk in the dooor.
Your doggy is adorable too Klara. Irt is VERY hot and humid here in NJ. Just went to the store and bought a case of water for my guys, they will need it for the next couple of datys.Sofs, choco is gorgeous!

Doing well Klara and yourself? Just spent one hour in Walmart waiting on Linda's pills to get filled. What a waste of my time and I missed the sunset
I asked them.. what takes soooo long to enter in the computer and put 30 pills in a bottle?? One hour and you should of seen these ladies, no teeth can't talk to well and just a plain mess. I told linda are you sure those pills are correct. Who knows what that crew would do.
Oh thats right the pharmacist was stuffing her face behind the counter and the PC screen.

Thanks for the job congrats. Yes, it has been quite a harrowing journey, actually...I had just 30 days to find another one within my system in order to save my pension or be terminated. I managed to get a job offer on day #28. It was very close and most anyone following this thread has heard about it and been a great team of supporters cheering me on!

I am at work till 1PM and It is s HOT. I am so happy for you that everything worked out with your new job and very happy that your BP and HR was great. It's a wonder with all the crap you have been goiing through trying to land a job in that Hospital system. Don't stress over anything Denise. That is what I have learned over the last almost 2 years. Back in the drinking days I worried about everything and then I just drank more thinking it would fix all. I was wrong.
I hope you have a great weekend and Please stay cool and don't overdue OK. I have to tend to the you know what downstairs and it is VERY VERY Hot there.

Went to the gym for my second hour (night shift) LOL
I'm trying to do the five smaller meals a day but it's hard. I've always had a tendency to overeat, due to the starvation I had to endure while in Cuba and later in Panama, I think. So, I'm training myself, Mark. It's not always easy, but I'm trying to stay fit, even with a torn ligament!
I'm going to watch a movie with the family. Have a great night and we'll talk some more tomorrow. I'm glad you survived the heat today!I can't seem to find the 'time' to keep those 5 meals spaced out accurately. I have missed working out 2 days in a row
b/c of business re: my new job and I am bumming-never thought I would say that! so that is a nice change. My employee physical was today and the young girl couldn't believe how low my b/p and pulse was! That's a nice feeling. I have a LONG way to go but I am inspired. I saw ABC world news and a 75 yr old female bodybuilder was on there-yep, I told my nephew "that's going to be me when I am her age, " @Danette-yes, sister, she did tell me that

I'm home Klara. I have been looking for a friend of mine that I grew up with when I was young and lived on Long BeaCH Island. I searched facebook etc and today Linda was at Walmart and saw one of my x's ;lol: and asked her if she knew where Jim lived and believe or not he live a 1 tenth of a mile from me. How bizzare is that. I went to his house and surprise him. We talked of all the good old times years ago. I can't believed I seached and ask where he was and he is in walking distance from my new home. We are going to the boat races tomorrow

Hi Denise.. Just got home from the boat races and boy that brought back some memories. They just got over and now it is ready to have a big storm. Sky is black so they got through just in time. They have races every weekend in differentr parts of the towns near my home. Just love this life, now if I can get out of my job it would be complete

I don't know if it would cure anything, but I was leaving the restroom when I spotted the dark fin and I got to see the most ridiculous spectacle ever! Someone yelled "Shark" and in a matter of three seconds the water was clear of humans! People tripping over each other on the sand!

Klara-how's your knee? Are you still working out? I did 30 min of (biggest loser) 'kick-A**' Yoga, 30 min of weights, and 40 min of aerobic machines tonight. I am sore, tired, but feel good. Trying to rev the metabolism which seems to be stuck on a particular number and more stubborn than me!!!

Yoga is my ultimate goal. That's what I want to do on an everyday basis, but I have to lose this giant muffin top before I can hold my own weight with a bad knee. I'll get to it. I have no doubts. About the metabolism... do small meals (that include some protein and carb) every three hours. I've been doing it for a week now but I'm not always successful. With my in-laws in town we're eating at random hours and sometimes I eat more than I should. But even then, I've managed to lose some volume already. I can feel it! It's so great that you're taking care of yourself.
