  Mark, families go through ups and downs but in the end we make amends because we are the same blood and one only has one set of parents. That's all. Give it time and try to keep it as simple as possible, no matter how much it bothers you. Try to keep your smile and cool attitude. A positive attitude seems to disolve whatever problems come your way.

  I am trying Klara but last night aI have found out the mother has a file on me for the last 30years and also in the file was my parents wills. I am really HOT now and you don't want to t off an Italian. The is only one reson to have those wills and that is how much am I worth now that parent both died.I couild just cry Klara. It seems like with I stopped drinking everything was going so great and now my life seems to be going in a downward tail spin. I wonder why this is happening. A bigger test for me from up above I believe. To see just how much I can take and if I will break and go back to you know what.

  Mark, FOCUS!!! Don't lose your focus now. Whatever she has on file, although ill-intentioned, won't have an effect on you. The will is yours, not hers, and whatever you do with that is your decision, not hers or your son's. Remain calm and let the dust settle into place. There might be more than what you can share, but focus on the outcome, not the intention. You can't change other people's way of thinking and acting. You only have control over yourself.

  Ooooh. I LOVE fried eggplant! This one I learned from my mother in law...
  You take the eggplant, peel it and cut it in small cubes, cover it with regular flour and fry it (not deep fried, just use enough oil to make it golden). Then use a little bit of molasses to lightly cover the pieces. Don't overdo it or you'll lose the taste of the eggplant. Just a little string of Molasses over each piece. It's WONDERFUL! This is a typical dish from Spain. Not your healthiest choice, I'll admit, but it's not that bad either. Try it and let me know.

RISE AND SHINE HUBBERS! It'a a cloudy day here in South Florida, no rain yet but it will be coming soon. I'm sure! I'm planning to head out to the beach for a little bit, to watch the dolphins and swim. Trying to make the best out of my last week of vacation.

  I am HERE Klara, Cara, Denise, Sophie and BETH and doing fine as of right now. I had to go to my other house after work and collect some of the many tools my dad had from working on Jet engines for our fighter jets.
  
  he has so many tools and as much as I hate to do it I have to sell most of them. They are high tech stuff that I would never in my life use. While going through all these tools in the basement and Garage I came across a metal box that said " FIRST AID" for emergency use only from WWII. Inside the box were many bills France and (ONE HUNDRED DOLLAR YUAN) Dated 1936 which doing my research that are rare to find. I have them and went into Ebay and they are selling for $550.00 each US Dollars .
  
  I struck Gold ladies BUT the money means nothing to me what they are worth, what mean more is that my Dad fought for our country to get those and brought them back from across the world and held on to them all this time.

  I had a good friend who recently died, who fought in WWII and received a purple heart. He fought in numerous battles including D-Day, Ardennes, Rheinland, and the Bulge. I loved him dearly, and up to this day not a day goes by that I don't think of him and miss him. He was an incredible man, so young at heart, such an inspiration! So, yes... I can relate. Even though I am a foreigner (aren't we all?) I still get it, you know? I lived in a communist country, so I have a special admiration for this country and for all the men that fought and continue to fight to mantain our freedom.

  Linda brother which I don't know if I told you (he is 55 but retarded) What a beautiful person, well he fell out of his wheel chair and fractured his hip. He is also in the hospital alot with UTI's . What a shame. I feel so bad for him and he never ever complains about anything. He is an Angel! So looking at him and how he must live, my life and my problem seems like nothing Klara.

  Anyways, yes! My birthday is not the same as the famous pianist Clara Wieck. She was Sept 13, I am August 10th... I share my birthday with Antonio Banderas It's supposed to be the hottest day of the year (St. Laurence day) In Spain they call the sun "lorenzo" which is Spanish for Laurence. Just a little trivia there!

  When you hit reply, look down to the right and you'll see an icon of a camera. Click that, and it will open up a section below that gives you the options to Upload, Import, My Photos. If you want to add the picture from your computer, click Upload, choose a photo, and pick the photo you want from the folders in your computer. If you want to add the picture from the internet you need to have the picture opened in another window, click Import, copy the URL of the picture and paste it where it says URL below, and click import. Well girls, I drove into work 60 miles and then Linda called me to say her brother was being operated on at 11 am. He did not fracture his Hip he broke it at the ball . That poor kid and never complained or asked for any pain medicine since Thursday. he has a high tolerance for pain you think.

The surgery went fine and now I am home at the shore,. I drove 60 mile to work, stayed 20 minutes drove 60 mile back so that I could be there for Linda and then drove 30 more miles to Atlantic City Hospital. That's what Hubbies should do for their wives and families right ?

  Hi Mark! Spent the day in South Beach. It was a gorgeous day until 4pm when the sky became dark gray. I have a year-round tan even though I use lots of sunblock. Oh well, I hope I don't get too wrinkled.

  So nice to see you Klara. I am so glad you had a great day on South Beach. About 4 pm the skies let loose here too. very heavy rain and wind.
  
  Linda went to see her brother and he is in extreme pain. Remember I told you he was retarded. The girls at the home he live in put him on the hydraulic lift on van and the wheel chair wheels go stuck as it was going up and flipped the wheel chair. The chair and her brother it the asphalt and that's how he broke his hip. Sounds like a State of New Jersey problem to me. Totally uncalled for and 4 days before that he fell again because he fell out of the chair while not strapped in and girls not paying attention.
  
  Other than that and no date for settlement everything is good. Lin and are are healthy and that is all that matters to me.

  I hope you sue the state, Mark. That is unbelievable! My cousin (Hard to believe she's my cousin bc she is 76, but she is!) tripped over something in the airport in Tennessee and fractured her hip as well. She had surgery and is not in rehab for another 4 weeks until she can regain strength. Poor thing!
  
  I hope he gets well soon. And I hope you get that settlement done before summer's out.

  Thanks Klara. All quiet on the son, mother issue, thank God. I can't deal with anymore stress right now as you know. I just think Ocean, Bay, Boating, Jet Skis and I am fine, Oh and I must add Bikinis I don't know how Linda puts up with me. I may be older but my eyes work great

  She'll be okay. She has a great sense of humor... keeps asking all the male nurses and doctors to marry her! She asks really serious too, so they get confused by it. It takes them a few days to realize she's joking. They love her wherever she goes. She's great.

Oh, so-so, I guess. My kitchen ceiling started to fall down after a roof leak so the guys were in here today trying to fix it. For some reason, I decided to get bombed out of my gourd in response to not having a livable kitchen. How are you? You seem great to me, Kimosabe.

  My husband is an interior designer and specializes on kitchens and baths. He doesn't have the slightest idea of how to mount the kitchen, but he can draw it! LOL I'm sorry you're going through that ordeal. It stinks!

  Aw... thanks! They still ID me when I buy a bottle of wine, so I guess I'm alright. They never believe me when I tell them my age. But somehow they started calling me Ma'm, and I HATE IT! Felt weird playing in a rock band and I have people calling me Ma'm! Really really weird!!!

Thanks Denise and Sophie for the warm birthday wishes. It was around this time (7:30am) that I came into the world, thirty-six years ago. which makes me a double LEO (Leo with rising sign on Leo) in other words, a trouble maker!

I'm not sure what's in the agenda today. For now, I am going to feed my dog and take her for a walk. I'll be back later.

  Yes I promise you Klara:) The boat only goes 210 MPH I should be able to be down your way via Atlantic Ocean in a heart beat:) I would love to go in that. You see they need oxygen mask in the cockpit?
  
  Just got home and taking Linda for some dindin. First time in awhile and then going to the bay for a bit. We try to go to the bay or Ocean each night. I just love it:)

  Hey Mark! Just came back from South Beach. It was a gorgeous day and I'm starting to look like a mulata! LOL Heading back to South Beach tonight to meet my old bandmates that want to treat me to some drinks and food. I'm not going to drink any alcohol since my husband is not coming and I have to drive. I'm not much of a drinker anyways! I'll have an iced tea instead.

  Hi Mark, it's beautiful here too. 88° and a bit cloudy which makes it even better to go out. I'm a bit disappointed at myself because I usually take great care of my skin and these past two days I decided to go walk up and down the beach and even though I wore sunscreen the sun fried my skin. I have a major sunburn and about two different colors on my face. So I feel like all the work I've done recently with creams and sunscreen wasn't even worth it. I can't believe I didn't notice the damage that was being done to my skin. Oh well, I've never done a facial in my life and I don't think I ever will, but this is ridiculous! I look like a lobster! Not my idea of sexy if you know what I mean!

  Oh Klara you would be sexy no matter what They say putting Tea Bags on your skin will help with the burn. I am not sure how true it is but someone told Linda that. It might of been denise. Anyway I'm working of course and saturday too> Linda is in Delanco getting so of her clothes from the old house and settlement might be this week coming so they say Finally!!

  Thanks, Mark. I will try to tea bags if I have to. I'm heading out today to the mall to shop some clothes. (I hate shopping but I have nothing to wear) This weekend I'm going with three of my girlfriends up to Cassadaga, which is a town of psychics, an hour from Orlando. It should be a lot of fun!
