      they shouldn't admit to watching it and it bothers me that I have to hear about them in between possible revolution in Iran and nukes coming from North Korea.

         I take it you don't watch and that's fine, but its all over the news and every entertainment show that come on.  Therefore you really don't have to watch to know whats going on.
         
         But as for your comment I wasn't asking about your political opinion.

            There was nothing political about my response as it is a response to what is given "attention" and just talking about it makes me barf, like I give a fuck about their struggles when so much other shit is happening in the world.

         And Next Month we are getting : Gone With The Wind.
         
         I understand everyone can not be as fortunate as us, but surely it's everyone's personal choice to be boring or not?

   Coincidentally I watched part of an episode for the first time on youtube today. I don't really know what I think, mostly that it was unremarkable and that I don't understand the media hype that surrounds it.

   Its stupid....I have never watched it but why should we?
   I don't understand why the media gives them so much publicity when millions of other marriages are going through the same issues (except they don't have a camera following them around 24/7)
   
   They are two average people with a $hitload of kids. The mother is a control freak!!! And she does her hair like she lives in the ghettos of Detroit or something. The husband obviously is looking for intimacy elsewhere and the poor kids are thrown into the mix. It is a sad thing...and I hope they do get in trouble for exploiting their kids for the Almighty Dollar. Selfish Jerks!

      Yeah...I don't know where you live, but if you watch any entertainment T.V Show (ex; Entertainment Tonight or Extra) or even the "THE SOUP" (E!Network) they are always talking about these people...or haven't you seen the covers of magazines at the Checkstand of your local grocery store? Where do you live MARS?

            Nothing is wrong with watching TV on occasion.. And another thing "You cannot avoid noticing the covers of magazines at the store".
            One does need a good laugh once in awhile.
            
            Obviously you don't have a sense of humor. You seem smug....

   Yea I have caught a climps of it a time or 2. I feel bad for them poor kids. They have so many that they are screeming for attention. The mother is definitly a control freek and a witch at that. Seems she has no heart. And her poor husband listens to everything she says. I bet they dont stay together much longer.

   Yes I watch it. I started watching it when I learned that Kate has the same disorder that I do. I found that their family had strength and courage and initially did the show for the right reasons. Now I'm not so sure. It is difficult to go through troubles in the public eye.

   Haven't really seen the show except for brief clips on the television. I did read somewhere were the child welfare services were investigating based on child labor laws. Don't know if that was solved yet. I just think many of the reality shows are pure "crap".  My sole opinion....
