To have Ad Sense on your HubPages account click "help" (on HubPages, where you sign up); and scroll down to Number 5 to get step-by-step instructions. From there, you apply and need to get approved by Google. It's a simple process.
After you get approved you will receive a code that you type/copy into the space provided in the "affiliate settings" section of your account.
To a step-by-step instruction read this help page:
Just enter your publisher id in My account> Affiliate settings page. You can do this by clicking on top of navigation page's my account button. Insert the pbid-xx-xxxxxx whatever into the field hubpages asks you to add. There is also process for verifying the adsense pub id sharing. Just take a look at that.
