What is the best way to "keep up" with the people you are fans of without getting tons of email?
Edit your profile and change the email setting to once a day instead of immediately for each published hub.
I eventually shut off the email notification. But not until I had hundreds of Hubbers I was following. Until then, I read them all—maybe fifty Hubs a day.
Now, I set aside one day a week to read Hubs. An entire day. I can read maybe 100 of them in 12 hours. I go to My Account, Hubbers you are Following, and I go down the list to see who has anything new in the past week. Of those I look at the titles and read all of them I am interesting in. Of course, those who have left comments for me in the previous week spur me on to give them the benefit of the doubt if their title is at least mildly interesting.

What if you just go down the list of all hubbers and automatically fan everyone. I know in a lot of sites this is considered a negative thing to do and it will drop your reputation or whatever. ...
