Are the news capsules working for anyone?
No matter what I put in there I get 'no news results found' or something like that. Even when I use one word keywords.
I don't use the rss capsule...I have no luck with that either.
For the RSS one you have to find a feed URL to place in it. Mine works fine
I am running surfer mag feed I search google for feeds that relate to the hub.
i find the rss works better, just takes a little more work to find the right one.
Did I miss something? The News capsules were working again a couple of days ago - I added one to my Billy Elliot Hub and it worked fine. But today it's disappeared. Are they out of service again?
What happens with the news capsules is that they are based on Yahoo News, and when it reaches its limits for pulling a feed, the capsule becomes blank.
Using an RSS capsule and find a direct feed on your topic works more regularly/steadily.
Thanks Relache - now I need to go and research RSS feeds!
This sounds like a good idea! I have so much to learn here, but I'm ready.

I apologise to Marisa, as I have no intention of 'stealing her thunder' for her excellent hub gathering statistics on the Plunges and Surges - http://marisawright.hubpages.com/hub/Hu … es-survey. I have looked at another aspect which was not included in the survey. I looked at about 10...

It seems the News Capsule is now out of favour. That's a bummer, because over the last couple of years, it's been recommended as a great thing to add your Hubs to keep the content "fresh".As a result, I (and many other Hubbers) have a News capsule on every @##$%^& Hub. That means...
