is there a problem with the news capsules, there is no news in them .....jimmy
the capsules are still there but nothing in them
I can report all of my new capsules have also gone blank. It would seem there is a good chance this is a site-wide issue....
Thanks all, we're looking into it. I have temporarily disabled the display of (empty) news capsule until we get it sorted out.
Paul, I just created a new hub, "It's Time for All-out War on Criminals" and when I hit "Save Unpublished" it disappeared. Is it gone forever? (If so I can type it back in.)
William -- I'm afraid that text capsule is probably gone. Things are straightened out now though, so you should be able to edit that hub again and add the missing text. Sorry about that.
Just to let you know that the news capsule in my hub: http://hubpages.com/hub/queen-elizabeth-birthday was replace by another comments capsule..so I have 2 comments capsule in that hub now...
O.k.well I posted a question on this so I will go back and delete it...teaches me to skim!
Hi Guys, i am just wondering if there is any news about the news capsules coming back to our hubs.....jimmy
They seem to back - most of the time - ive changed most of mine over to RSS feeds
Thanks Paul, I wonder if you would be able to answer this, did it affect any pages rankings on search engines when the capsules disapeared from hubs and were there fewer visitors to hubs that contained news capsules? just out of interest.....jimmy

Is there a problem with the news capsules? Seems like none of mine are working? Did I miss something?

It is often said that we need to include news capsules to keep our content fresh. But I see various Hubbers who are doing well, like ryankett, who don't include it. They simply do their keyword research, post content and let it be.I understand the value of the RSS capsule with your latest hubs...

Okay, to start with, the features in the capsules we have are already pretty awesome, and my hat is off to the programmers for coming up with all these utilities. There is one additional feature that would be on my wish list, and that would be the option to "drag and drop" photo and map...

Janderson just submitted some great suggestions on this thread:http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/126313#post2666393and I think this one deserves a suggestion post on its own. We're always being told to be discriminating with our Amazon capsules - less is more, they must be directly related, etc...
