I have entered the contest and the timing is perfect!! I am home healing from a broken leg and this will help me pass the time and get the word out about my awesome city, Asheville North Carolina! I have written a number of blogs about my town but this will take it to the next level! Hope you will get to know my hubs and my city a bit better!
...oooh yes! I have worked and played hard walking this plank. I cannot remember a time I had so much fun. I have become some kind of foodie guru for Little Rock, and won a prize! I have already started on week 2. I have some great ideas...Working a job besides this limits my time, but wait until you meet the .......to be continued!

How can you be sure that you have successfully entered the Hubpages writing contest?I tried to enter the hubs I wrote yesterday and today, by typing "WritingContest" tag on the Hub as instructed. Yet I can't find any indication that they have been entered into a contest...please advise....

Does it suffice to publish a hub on the topic of a contest during the contest? Example: It is the first day of the recipe contest. I just published my first recipe. Is my recipe hub automatically entered in the contest or is some other action required on my part?
