I've recently read a news about MIT students getting more than a million dollars a year. Top 5 universities including Princeton, Harvard and 2 other universities.
The students enrolled in aircraft engineering had the most income over the 10 year period.
Next came chemical engineering, computer engineering, and 2 other subjects.
Seems like that I've finally got a future in engineering, in the best university in the world. What do you think?
Panda Man
I now think that the USA has the best universities in the world.
Seriously? Where are you from?
*edit: Or are you being highly ironic...as we know you are...about that obscene amount of $$$?
In one of my previous jobs most of the people I worked with were from MIT. They were like a roving band of MIT people, who'd make their way from one high-tech/scientific company to another; and then get each other into wherever they worked. If you can attend MIT you'll probably have an edge when it comes to finding a job (as long as you don't alienate your contacts).

Has anyone been enrolled in or received a degree from an online college such as Walden University? If what was your experience like? Is it comparable to a brick and mortar college?

There should be more stringent standards in high school for college and/or university admission. Too many students attending colleges and/or universities in the United States are clearly unqualified to attend such institutions. A noted educator was emphatic in his premise that only...

We (the US) should have state trade schools with job training for those kids who aren't interested in college. Kind of like job corps. I think they do this in G. Britain, but I'm not sure.
