please tell us in "simple steps" how to make money on hubpages -kindergarten language please..LOL
1. Signup for Google AdSense.
2. Write hubs.
3. When readers of your hubs click on the ads, you make money.
You can find more info on these steps in the help section (see the top-right) and in the learning center (for the link see bottom of this page).
@W. K. Hayes: The Answers section is not for promoting your own hubs. Also, it does not answer the question that was asked.
There is no fast track to earning money as I'm sure that if you read any of the other Hubbers who ask this same question will tell you.
I needed the "simple" answer to as I am not good with computers and found it frustrating, but in all honesty- read through previous forum ?'s, read the learners guide and dont be afraid to post ?'s on the forum. There are many helpful Hubbers who would love to help! Above all else, take the time to learn the process. It'll be worth it in the end.
You need to write about the right subjects. Ask yourself what people are looking for on Google, and write about that.
Imagine your Hubs are informative articles which you're writing for a magazine. Make them at least 400 words and illustrate them with photos and videos to keep your readers' interest.
Sign up for the affiliate programs (Adsense, Amazon).
To learn how to do all that, you need to read the Help screens and the Getting Started Guide. That may sound tedious, but there are no short cuts to making money online. It's hard work.
I am writing a guide for complete hubpages success. Two artciles have been published, Hubpages for dummies.
http://hubpages.com/hub/Hubpages-for-du … h-hubpages
Write, write and then write some more. The key is building a following and getting your hubs there. It takes time, no I haven't got there yet, but be persistent and keep trying.
I've tried to make money online by writing articles in various websites and taking surveys, but to be quite honest though I've made nearly £1000 in all it took a few years and a horrendous amount of effort. The stress of it became far too much for me (I have a serious health condition) and in the end I decided that it wasn't worth it. Now I do things online because I enjoy them and I'm a lot happier and more relaxed.
I am making a little from hub pages but I don't think about it now. Just an alterative view point for you to balance the scales!

Fine, the forum has lots of people that claims they make thousands of dollars every month. I doubt 98% of them. From my experience, I may want to believe Ryankett because I've seen most of his backlinking works on various sites. If you make that much every month, voice it out and help breath...
