I was trying to publish a new hub and when I hit the "Publish Now" button, this is what I get:
"Sorry, because of rule violations associated with your account or ip address, permission to publish new hubs has been revoked. You can still edit your existing hubs and save your changes to this hub by clicking the done editing button. Your right to publish may automatically be restored through time and adherence to the HubPages rules. Fixing or deleting existing flagged hubs may also help."
What did I do? What rules did I violate? Pointing out what I did wrong can really help me correct it. What violation did I commit?
You'll need to go back to each of your hubs in edit mode and see what it says at the top - it should tell you why that particuar hub has been flagged. Have you been posting the same articles on other sites or maybe adding links to your hubs in the forums or comment boxes here?
the best way to figure it out is to send an email to the team.
You did something to violate HP Tos rules , did you copy someone else's work? Or have duplicate content? Did you publish graphic work? Did you spam or harass others? Your ip address will follow everywhere. Contact teamhubpages and they will give you an explanation.
Thanks for the reply Susan. I'll check my most recent published hubs.
I don't spam LVM. I do comment on other hubs related to the hubs I publish and mention my hub. Is that spam even the comments are meaningful.
Comments get marked as spam based on individual judgments by the hub author, and many authors do consider leaving a Hub URL in a comment to be spam, as you are using their page to advertise yourself.
If you cut-n-paste the same comment to a lot of Hubs, then the system filters might judge it as spam.
From glancing over some of your Hubs, the vast amount of outgoing links in the text capsules might be one of the problems.
It could possibly be related to a spamming issue.
In addition to that, there seem to be other violations too like adding extra bit of unrelated tags on one of the hubs I saw.
do u post an illegal issues? maybe write to the team and find out the causes, that's the fastest way to know the answer i think..
Thank you all for your help.
I don't see any flagged hubs at all.
I think it's the first one. I did leave some comments with links back to two of my hubs recently.
Those 'unrelated tags' are probably the ones generated by hubpages. You know, the suggested tags.
You're probably correct.
I agree that the best course of action would be to contact the staff.
Thank you all for your help. I'll try to figure out how to contact the staff.
perhaps you have two account or the content has much links. Hubpages just allow three links to one sites
Here's an update. I just received an email form Hubpages that I have a flagged hub because of nudity.
So it wasn't spamming after all!
I created a Marilyn Monroe hub and published a nude picture. Note: I BLURRED the breast part. Anyway, I've removed the offending picture since and I'm yet to check if I can publish new hubs now.
More updates later . . .
I can publish new hubs now, Yay! I didn't contact the staff.
Ok. I'll be creating more hubs now and I'll remember to be careful with the pictures I post.
Cheers to all!
Thanks for the update. Hope they remove your restrictions as you have removed the offending picture.
Wowwww a BLURRED Monroe boob, but they do bugger all about all the Indian shit that is messing with my ads. Give this Hubber a damn break and do something about the crap that is really messing the site up. Kudlit is a good hubber unlike some of the bullshit crap Indian Pics that you actually feature as featured Hubs. I despair at this, I really do !
You are a person that commands respect unlike most, so come on Maddie or Paul give the guy a break !
Helloooooo badcompany? Are you just as bad as you appear to be? or are u just one big pussy cat, needing a girls lap to sit on....lol
Is it just me or have you become really dominant in the last day, I aint no pussy goodfriend and don't confuse me with someone you can put down like tantrum, just might look bad on ya and I wud hate to see that !
Bring it on bad boy. I will take you on any day, or any hour for that matter.....lol
That was interesting how the real cause of the ban was for nudity. It would be helpful if there was an easier way for people to figure out why they get inhibited.
Lol yeah you think I had you figured from day 1 my Tiny Dancer friend, bring it on !
I'll bring it "on", you just bring your bad self where I am and I will show you how I can get it "on"
Getting it on with a guy who left the site aint my thing ya know, but if ya get me drunk I might just kiss ya. Ya know what Goodfriend the thing about good writers is they just cant hide their style ya know, and well ya couldnt, but hey tis good to see you back !
Ya know, I am who I am, but who in the heck are you talking about? And no thanks, I don't kiss pirates......lol
How do you know? have you ever met me personally? No I don't think so! Any ways I got to go all be back later, except I am keeping my eyes on you!
Lol nice to know, I really wish I could fly out and meet you as I love American sports and I love the Raiders, jeeez girl I am deff a number one RaiderFan, do you like the Raiders ?
I wonder why her Mummy calls her just at that vital question, dunno but shes a bit old for her Mammy telling her what to do lol, I think we have her sussed my Captain, I think you were right !

I was hub hopping and had to flag a few hubs for being substandard (word count). One hub had exactly 10 words and 2 photos. There should be a way the system prevents you from publishing a hub like that except if it's in the poetry section.

I was really excited when I saw this new feature because I thought it was a great way to support, get to know and interact with other hubbers...But...for the most part, with some exceptions it is a load of garbage. When I think of all the painstaking time I take putting a hub together...and I...

This forum is a place for you to post hubs that you think are clearly of low quality and need flagging. Committed hubbers should follow this forum and check these hubs posted for quality when they have the time. If a hub has been clearly copied (for example from a PDF file that the plagiarism...

I would like to make a suggestion to the TEAM here on HUB Pages. I feel that it would be a positive improvement here on the HUB, if all of the activity that is perpetuated by Hubbers, were made known. For instance... apparently - anyone can go around giving thumbs UP or DOWN to a fellow...

So .... I was just flagged for a hub I wrote last night. It was flagged as a duplicate.I didn't even cite anything in this hub. I quoted a bunch of stuff in my Anaconda piece and none of it was flagged as duplicate, so someone must have copied and pasted my new hub. Everything on...

The question of whether poetry Hubs should have 400-word minimums came up in this thread a few minutes ago:http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/70203#post1528809I've been puzzling about what to do with poetry Hubs I've found while hopping. I haven't flagged any of them, because poetry is a unique...
