How to set up an adsense account
I've tried to set up an account with AdSense and they tell me that I need to edit the HTML code on my website. I submitted with the website hubpages and again with my profile website and had the same response. I read the detailed account of how to set up an account that was found on here and I'm still having trouble. . .any suggestions?
Go to http://google.com/adsense and sign in with your Google account or sign up for a Google account.
I've tried that and I still get that answer. Everyone just gives the same pat answer -- sign up for adsense, read this hub. That is really not very helpful. If you've followed those steps and tried that and you get an error message and you ask for help -- it's really not very helpful when you get the same response -- read this hub, it tells you everything. Honestly, if it had worked for me, I wouldn't be asking this question. I'm not trying to gripe, I'm just really frustrated and any honest, detailed answer would be really appreciated.

Since 2010, I've been accumulating pennies in my Google Adsense account, waiting for the day I'd hit the $100 pay threshold. I checked it a couple of weeks ago, it was at $94 and change. Today, all the numbers are GONE!!! I see no evidence that it's been added to my HubPages ads...

Just for a bit of background - I have been writing online for years, and literally have millions of words "out there". Only once did I have an AdSense account, and if I remember correctly, it was for a blog that is rarely used. It still appears, if I right-click on the blog, and view the...

This probably is one of the worse days of my life, after so much effort I have put online, here I stand with my Adsense account disabled due to invalid click activity. I don't have any clue why this happened! I have been here at Hubpages for more than 3 years and make more than 90% of my earning...

At HubPages, do writers have to have an account with AdSense for Google ads to appear on their hubs, or do they appear because HubPages has its own account with Google AdSense? I ask because I have Google ads on my one hub, but I have no individual AdSense account yet. I appreciate your help,...
