Ok, silly me, but I've not seen one question nor answer nor info on how a hubpages writer gets paid. With other sites, you link our paypal account and when you have accrued a certain amount (usually $10) then you can request the money to be transferred to your paypal. I've seen nothing here that describes recieving any money.
I may have missed this obvious information, but I haven't seen this anywhere. Thanks for the help, guys. Today is my first day to publish.
Welcome to HP, lifeasinoit! You need Google Adsense account to get paid.
Pacal is right, HP doesn't pay you at all. They provide you a platform to write and promote affiliate products from Amazon and Ebay. You have to get an adsense account too from Google.
Concentrate on getting your adsense account and then try for your Amazon affiliate account. Don't even bother with Ebay until you have some proven traffic on hubs that would do well selling Ebay products.
Hope this helps and welcome to HP!

Hi Hubbers, I checked my account yesterday on August 20, 2016 and to my surprise the Google Adsense has approved my application. It is hardly even two months, when I signed up.

Well, that’s nice, very nice. I haven’t got a clue of what I did wrong. And after filling in the online appeal form they told me they had reviewed my account information, taken my feedback into account, but still...
