How do you drive traffic into your hubs?

I leave links in Facebook, Twitter and forums, hoping that it could lead readers to my hubs. But are there other ways? I can't help feeling that there is something else I could be doing.

Hmm easy to thing and to do also….
    •    Join shetold me and write a scoop pointing to your hub.
    •    Add your URL to search engines
    •    Leave insightful comments to other hubs
    •    Join Bokmarking sites like jump tag, url.org, faviki, folkd, yahoo buzz etc.
    •    Answer the question on Yahoo answers.

Simply pick the topic which have less competition ... add quality and original contents ...

    # Do top 20 or top 40 social bookmarking.
    # Tweet it
    # Share with your friends on facebook ...
    # Use other platform and add links at there such as blogspot or squidoo ...

Do these things for first month and let us know ...

Do not do anything over ...

Write an article for Ezinearticles on the same subject as your hub and leave a backlink.

One of my hubs gives a list of more backlinking methods.

100% referring sites but it is a slow process but does work. I now have 1028: 30 days views and 2879 ever total with my 3 articles. I have 21 visits and 39 pageviews through the referring sites and 138 organic traffic around the world with the referring sites that is spreading my 1st article around the world in 8 countries and 11 cities. From May 14, 2011 to May 25, 2011 I got 6 visits for my 1st article which have given me the total of 21 visits and 39 pageviews. Also I waited 2 months with 0 traffic while waiting for the referring sites to find my 1st article and they did and have been coming back for it over and over again. You just have to write excellent article and be patient for the referring sites to find your article and just kick back and watch the views soar upward and around the world with no stopping it. I am doing absolutely nothing else except answering questions on hubpages. Google Panda have skyrocketed my views for my 3 articles. No complaints are coming from me. My 1st article: 103 30 days views and 1654 ever total; 2nd article: 677 30 days and 977 ever total; 3rd article: 248 30 days and 248 ever total. Just the facts as of May 26, 2011 A.D. at 6:58 am.

I have found that my HubPages rarely get visits from Google. Most of the visits are from other people on Hubpages unlike my websites that get about 95% traffic from Google.

Yes I drive traffic from my Twitter account, my bloggers and my Facebook Fan page. I use my own quote to get others to come and read my HUBs that are of the same topic. That has done some good bring traffic.

I'm interested in why some people have such excellent content and put such work into hubpages rather than a website of their own.

Create good content, and write an article about the related topic as your hubs sumit it to article directorys or other info pub sites,I think it would be a good way.

Try your hardest on every hub you write.

Make sure everything is exactly how it should be and never give up on yourself or get lazy and the traffic will come to you over time if you do all of those things.
