I am lost and totally confused by this stuff. I read it and go round in circles.
I want to put a banner on my blog and yes I have found the banner and I want to send emails with an affiliate link. This is all probably really easy. I have found my tracker code which is a group of 12 figures and numbers.
Copy and paste would be lovely. So far for me it is the only detail missing on this site.
Hi, I'm sorry you're having trouble working it out!
Point 1 - this isn't really a blogging site. It's a site where you can write interesting, informative articles.
Point 2 - you can't put banners on your Hubs. Instead, you set yourself up for Adsense and Adsense decides where your ads will go and what they'll look like. The only ads you can control are the Amazon and eBay ones (if you decide to have them) and you do that by adding the relevant capsules to your Hub.
Browse around and you'll find a lot of Hubs explaining how to Hub, including several by Darkside and Caspar.
You can find some banners here:
The HubPages tour or the home page are pretty good place to link to, but you can link to almost anywhere. To include a tracker in your link the easy way, just navigate to the page you want to link to and then click on "link to this page" down in the footer (make sure you're signed in).

Trying to see if I understand this correctly. The trackers only work from outside of HP, correct? So if I have a new affiliate tracker on my profile page or in a hub, it's worthless to me, right? And if I link from one of my hubs to someone else's via a traffic tracker, again, it does me no good,...

Wow, a lot sure has changed over the years, even over the past few months - since I published my last hubs. I'm ready to jump back in, and want to share links to my articles using the referral trackers BUT seem to be doing something wrong. I watched the video from the FAQ page but it is...

Like referrals.1. Why insert an _referralcode into the URL. Couldn't you come up with a dynamic insertion solution? If an insertion was required, what's wrong with appending it at the end of the URL as in ?referrer=xyz? or would that make it too easy for hubbers?2. Why do pages like the Referrals...
