What are the pitfalls of public approval?
Do you have a need for people to like your work? Do you feel this is necessary to the writing process, other people commenting and agreeing or disagreeing with you?
Excellant question northweststarr and tempted to write Hub about it. You could have opened a can of psychological worms with this one....It is nice to have approval but obviously not everyone wll like your work so you have to roll with the punces. :0)
Another question should be: "who do you write for yourself or the people?"
Hey Naomi! Definitely write a hub about it! Rolling with the punches IS difficult. Is it worth it in the end?
Good question, northweststarr, and no doubt provocative at cutting useful discussion for a range of intelligent people curious enough to cut into the writing process. My own answer HubPages cut back as too long to make the cut (surprise, surprise!) for this venue, but I thought it not wise to cut it down to size here, so I cut it with a save and cut it forth as a separate hub, giving you credit, of course, for first cutting the question. Am I boring you yet?
The most important thing is to write an intelligent, thoughtful, and well researched hub it it is nonfictional and highly imaginative if it is fictional. It is of paramount importance that a hub be interesting as to draw your audience to you. Use catchy and intriguing tabs to get traffic to you. Don't worry about approval, just present an intelligent, thoughtful hub.

BUT I would hate to be waiting...

Web-site/URL: http://www.cbsnews.com/blogs/2010/01/27 … 9049.shtmlThis should remind us of Mr. Obama's inauguration again, when his approval ratings were around 80%. This latest indicator suggests that HE IS DOING PRETTY WELL (and this assessment INCLUDES HEALTHCARE. Now if we could get a...

I'm always curious about how different people go about their writing process. I've been writing professionally for a decade. Yet..I still find myself falling into chaos and struggling to manage my time efficiently. Do you have a strict protocol as far as the when, where, and how of working - or do...

If you thought Monsanto’s lack of testing on their current GMO crops was bad before, prepare to now be blown away by the latest statement by the USDA. Despite links to organ damage and mutated insects, the USDA says that it is changing the rules so that genetically modified seed companies like...
