Only few hubbers take the time and leave a fanmail. I think that is a sweet gesture, Of all the fan mails you recieved which one touched your heart most.
For me one of the hubbers i admire said you are a welcome addition and have written some good quality hubs. I guess that made me blush.
thats a good one. i love all my fans and fan mail. some are more personal, and have a different meaning to me, but i appreciate them all.
I think the best is the first, of course! It is not so much of what it's written but a good gesture. It gave me the courage to wite more. On the other hands, I get discouraged from some of the great Hubbers with high scores. They just don't give a care to become my fan. I think my writing is somewhat good.
I have many great fan mails, impossible to pick out my favorite. Now my score is not that great , I hit 99 once, a long time ago, but I routinely check out new hubbers and fan them if their stuff is interesting and good.
As one gets up there in fan count it is very hard to keep up with all the talent and impossible to keep up with everyone. Older hubbers have to write and work too. As most have a day job and family. I am fortunate to have more time on my hands.
Write good stuff and have patience, it will come.
@Rednckwmn Thanx for being the first to reply, fans in any form are welcome right. Good for you. Cheers for many more.
@Tim-Tim You are just three weeks old, you will settle in, Welcome to HubPages. Dont be discouraged this place takes patience and hardwork and in no time you will be the envy of many hubbers.
@Ralwus, Ralwus that was a bang on answer, a hubscore of 99 does feel great. Kudos to many more.
i appreciate all of them very much. i have a soft spot for my first, but that is probably understandable.
The Fan Mail message you left me certainly was up there CK
Thank you.
You surely deserved it one of my favorite hubbers here. Cheers for many more.
Wow... Get over here and let me lick you to death
I love all the comments ,hubbers leave on my hubs. This is one of the most original

this is like wandering through the streets of some completely foreign country where everyone wears saffron, turquoise and magenta and says things like 'Sometimes getting completely lost is the best way to find yourself'. I'm pressing the UP button...
So thank you again cosette !
Why I thank you young lady, my best I guess is my next one
On my way to remedy that, must have been drinking lol !
Oh, HAHAHAHA!!! Must of been a thursday, eh? THAT I can forgive.
Jeeez does everyone know Thursday is my night, anyways Fanmail now left
Oh man, did you not read anything I wrote yesterday? I only know, cuz I have thrusdays too....off to find fan mail, then bakc to real life. Have a great weeknd BC!!
When I discovered HP, I just wrote a hub and posted it, not really getting immersed in the community. I didn't know about the community. I sort of walked away from writing and have only done it sporadically because my first love is being a composer/songwriter. I was so surprised when I got my first bit of fan mail. I had no idea about any of that. So I nosed around a bit, and decided I better be a good neighbor and start reading.
Now it's hard to balance the reading with writing. And I'm addicted to these damned forums. LOL
But what I've found is that the mix is incredibly diverse and so many people here are thoughtful and intelligent. I have my favorites, but I think for the most part, you know who you are. I think the kinship comes from similar tastes in wit and humor and philosophies of life.
I've had many a blah day brightened from fan mail and comments, and reading forum posts. Just want to say thanks to you, my cyber friends, for making life a little sweeter.
Grooviness to all.
Woof! GRRRRRRRRR.....
(That's' "thanks" in golden retriever)
I enjoy all of my fan mail. It makes me feel good to know that I actually have fans that enjoy my hubs.
The best I got was a rant from my sargent. Still there, I left it in case he came back and did it again.
We had a great evening after he left it. Lots of silence, hard stares and sneaky tripping-up-of-my-sargent business
I'm not sure because I appreciate them all. I think those that joke or just say don't get into newspaper journalism are my favorites (it's in reference to me being a newspaper intern in my hub profile). I kinda know where they are coming from...plus I wasnt a big fan of writing for the newspaper anyway.
It makes me laugh too. x)
It's hard to pick one because I like all my fan mail. Some made me feel welcome to be here and others are motivating or made me feel appreciated. Either way after reading them my face looks like " "

I started with hubpages a few days ago, and started following people that I admired, and whose writing I enjoyed. It asked me if I wanted to write fan mail, but I thought I would wait until I got to know them a bit better. Now, looking at the profile pages, I don't see anywhere where you can post...

There should be a tab for sent messages or sent fan mail. I cannot find this anywhere on the site. Thanks!

Might be a brain fart here, but I have a couple of fans I'd like to leave fan mail for...how do you find that option? TX in advance.

How important do you believe it is to leave fan mail once you start following someone on Hubpages?Often times I will follow someone and then after I have gotten to know them a little better I like to leave fan mail. Unfortunately, that means sometimes I forget to leae fan mail even though I really...

Is anyone else getting a lot of people requesting you to follow them in the fan mail comments?I have had about three people recently leave comments that ask me some variation of "Follow me because I have have followed you." My first reaction is to deny the fan mail and to not follow...
