How much research do most of us put into our hubs?
I am curious to know how much research most of us put into our hubs before we write them? Sometimes I spend a lot of time doing research and sometimes I just sit down and write the hub. What works for you?
I tend to do the research as I write my hub, consulting the links and such as I go. I always intend to spend more time doing research but I'm easily distracted and that tends to result in the hub being delayed.
I don't tend to do a whole lot of research (yes...it shows in my hubs...lol) But I tend to generate stories that don't require too much research...as such...I research as I go along.
Depends on what I'm writing about. If I'm reviewing a movie I've just seen or a CD I've just listened to I usually do a rough draft off the top of my head, then I might read up a bit on IMDb, Wikipedia or a band's official site and use what I learn there to go back and tweak/add certain statements.
I try to do my best to research as much facts as I feel appropriate for the subject at hand.

I'm new to Hubpages, as I joined about two weeks ago.I've been looking around and there are many quite prolific hubbers.I know that quality is what matters, but out of curiosity, how long do you spend writing each hub? Including any research, writing, editing.

When looking for information on a hub topic it is good to make sure that the information is accurate and that you have done your homework because there is nothing worse than reading an article that has false information. This takes the reader away from your site as they feel that it is fictitious...

How much time do you normally require to write a hub on the average? I am asking this because I can easily write a hub within 30-40 minutes time and sometimes a hub will take a couple of hours or so. BUT food hubs are taking a lot longer to complete, maybe because I haven't written much articles on...
